The portable sound machine has had issues from the beginning and the large version broke after five months.

Very disappointed !! We expected this to last at least 6 months but the motor died at 3.5 months. For this price, should have lasted much longer.

I have purchased 1 of these for each of my kids rooms. For my son we got the 2 speed and it is now 7 years old and has been used every single night and taken on vacations and still works great. When my twins were born we got 2 of the single speeds since we typically only use the low setting anyway. They are going 4 years strong now. One of those does occasionally make a rattling noise for the last few years, but she's old enough that she just gets up and turns it off if it bothers her. The other 2 never sound rattle-y. We liked that these stay on all night. When we tried cute kid products or soothing ocean sounds they all shut off after a period of time and my son would wake up instantly. After this he has been an amazing sleeper and we never even tried anything else with my daughters. I can have all 3 kids in one room on a vacation and one wake up screaming or talking and the other 2 didn't wake up. I don't know what we would have done without these the last 7 years. Highly recommend!
