It’s broken after a few months of use. Audio has become crackly if the adapter is not in a specific position. It always has a habit of disconnecting while playing, which I assumed was a limitation of this kind of adapter if the phone is in a pocket. In the market for a replacement now.

Not the best

It works, but... I bought this to allow me to use my jack plug Bose headphones, which work perfectly well with my jack socket apple devices. However, this link lead does not recognise it as a device and no sound is heard... unless you plug this lead into the iPad, then plug in a pair of apple earbuds, get those working, then unplug them, and then plug in the Bose headphones, at which point the Bose headphones can be heard and work normally, including in line volume control. So I can't say this lead doesn't work... but what a phaff!

Arrived promptly.Great little gadget. I can now listen to my music on headphones from my phone.

Seems robust but perhaps an illusion. Has lasted 4 months for my partner who is not particularly careful with cables. Could be worse; if I'd been using it then it would be far better looked after and would probably still work.

Please never buy an apple headphone adapter from Amazon this is the third one I have purchased and it is the third one that hasn’t worked!!!

This looks like a finely made product, but it simply doesn’t work for headphone volume control. (strangely it does work for REV/FFWD to previous or next song)
