I bought the 11kg and it arrived in a very nice tote bag. I know 11kg is heavy, but I wasn't expecting it to be sooo heavy!!! Once spread out on the bed, it's fine. You feel it wrapping you in comfort once you are underneath it and it doesn't slip off all night, stays in place ..... If you struggle with lifting you might need 2 people to get it on and off the bed.. The quality of the pure white cotton material is cooling and very well made. You can tell it's not a cheap blanket, it's duvet material not blanket style... It helped me sleep and stay asleep longer. Kept me warm. I've ordered a linen double duvet cover just to keep the cat hair off it. However it says it's easily put in the washing machine. I have a 10kg washer so I think it'll fit. It should. If not, it says you can freeze it! To kill all mites. Cool. I'm really glad I bought this. I weigh 11 stone so I got the 11kg. I think 13kg one would have been too heavy, even if you are bigger. It's nice they have many sizes and weights to choose from. I recommend this over others Ive seen on the market. Good quality, high end brand. You can see and feel the good workmanship. I love it. Little glass pearl beads of comfort.

I don’t really know how to explain this, here goes.I got the blanket a couple of weeks ago and found it excellent in helping my insomnia. It made going to bed a pleasure it felt so relaxing. I bought the correct weight of blanket for my body weight.After about a week the bottoms of my legs started to feel very warm, so much so I had to check if I’d left the electric blanket on, which I hadn’t. A few days after that I got cramps in my lower legs. This is something I suffer from occasionally I usually just rub some magnesium oil in them and it goes. It happened last night but instead of the cramps going they kept coming back, just as bad whenever I got back into bed. After 4 lots of magnesium oil I decided to research weighted blankets and found articles about the blankets causing leg cramps and feeling of heat in legs.Sadly the blanket is going to have to go back as it’s still under guarantee. I’m so disappointed as I found it so helpful.UPDATE 15/1/23 repositioned the blanket so there was no overhang at the edge of the bed and gravity wasn’t pulling it down making it heavier. Since then it’s been brilliant no cramps etc, not slept this well for years. Many many years ago I lived with my Gran. In those days bedding was much heavier, 3 wool blankets, an eiderdown and counterpane etc on top so really quite heavy. Somehow this blanket takes me back to those days, feeling safe. I can’t say I was feeling unsafe pre-blanket but it’s the only way I can describe it. Tomorrow’s challenge is washing it. Washer’s maximum load is 8kg so all should be well 🤞.

I personally like it but my husband hates this blanket. It is so heavy that putting it on the bed it is a workout in itself. You can put a cover on it but it doesn't really stay in place. However I find the weight of it conforting and I would recommend this purchase.

Feels quite nice, like a firm but gentle hug, this makes you slow down and plan movements such as turning over, as a bit of effort is needed. I tried for a week, maybe should have tried longer. Main issue for me was it made me feel cold (it is filled with cold glass beads and I tried it during a winter cold snap), I have put away to try again in summer, it least it may be helpful on hot nights, Also it feels too heavy to put in the washing machine, so for peace of mind I will have to wash by hand i think. Maybe a bit of a gimmick, but I'm sure will work for some people. ha ha.

So, updated : we ordered TWO ( ON A DEAL PRICE)13 AND 9 KG PERRRRRRRFECTO. IN LOVE. also arrives in nice sturdy bag so it's pretty much looking as a giftYes, it has not standard length and it's a problem to find a suitable cover, but I put on the regular ikea's duvet cover 150x200 and it is just OK( a bit bulky in one end and too long ). It spread the weight perfectly and no empty space in pockets. My husband now sleep ONLY under that one) and I need to say he is a warm-loving person so I was unsure about the wintertime ( he could make a nest from two 10 TOG blankets or roll into caterpillar with huge 15TOG duvet and still complaining from the inside that he is cold. 😂😬))) but he says that this blanket is perfect to sleep and he is not cold or hot. So I'm pleased! We bought it on sale) so we are REALLY HAPPYUPDATED ON TOG : SO I funnily got mine and it's really great for also those who are always hot during the sleep ( I used to woke up all soaked with sweat even if it's lite duvet)

This is a great weighted blanket. It's soft, heavy (obviously) and comes with a little carry-bag making it easy to store / transport.It is white, so I'd advise getting a duvet cover of some kind for it if you're worried about getting it dirty, but with or without a cover it is great for people who suffer from an anxiety disorder. The individual I purchased this for gave great feedback and uses it regularly when they feel unwell and it really helps to re-ground.

The blanket/duvet is so soft whilst not being too hot or cold. The quality is high. I recommend choosing a weight that is at least 10% of your body weight for the best outcome. I wouldn’t recommend using the duvet as the main duvet as it is quite thin, but would work well alongside another standard duvet. You wouldn’t need a cover for this blanket as it is so soft but you can put a standard duvet cover on it if you wish.I have anxiety and this duvet is really helping so far.

It was a gift for my Dad, unfortunately, he said it was like sleeping under a bag of potatoes and it was too heavy, so he didn't want to commit to trying it for longer, I chose 9kg maybe 7kg would have been a better option. But either way what I learned is, that the body needs to learn to sleep under it, therefore it needs commitment and patience to get all the benefits, unfortunately, I'm not able to testify to the effectiveness of the product as it wasn't me who use it, probably good idea would be to start with the lighter version.

Je suis très satisfaite de cette couverture lestée. C'est ma deuxième et c'est encore plus confortable. Elle n'est pas trop lourde, ni trop chaude surtout en ce moment. Je dors bien . Par contre c'est dommage de ne pas avoir une protection, genre housse, car elle est blanche donc se salit très vite. J'utilise une housse de couette pour la protéger. (200x200)

Zunächst war es äußerst ungewohnt unter der Gewichtslast zu ruhen und zu schlafen, aber schnell ist die Ungewohnheit verflogen. Warum auch immer, nach 2, 3 Nächten will man die Gewichtsdecke nicht mehr vermissen, irgendwie gibt die Decke einem Sicherheit und gleichzeitig die Gewissheit, dass ich am Morgen ausgeruht und mit dem Gefühl, ich habe "gut geschlafen" erwache. Alles in allem, ich möchte diese Gewichtsdecke nicht mehr vermissen, sie ist zu meinem besten Schlafbegleiter geworden und hoffe, dass es so bleibt!Ihr dankbarer KundeWerner Burg

Trzeba pamiętać, że jest to 13 kg, ta kołdra jest naprawdę ciężka. I nie da się do tego przyzwyczaić, co się zapomnę żeby ją unieść to aż mnie zgina. Jednak zrobiona jest tak świetnie, granulki szklane są malutkie, równomiernie wszyte, w ogóle ich nie czuć w przeciwieństwie do produktu oferowanego w sklepie z tanimi rzeczami marki na literę A. Do tego obszyta w bawełnę, a nie poliester jest szalenie miła w dotyku. Dzięki zastosowaniu szklanego wypełnienia kołdra utrzymuje przyjemny chłód, ale nie jest zimna. Leżymy pod kołdrą, a kot na niej jak tylko zbliża się upał. Kot dosłownie nie chce z niej zejść, a jak już się człowiek przykryje to samemu też wyjść nie chce. Polecam w opór.
