While sometimes you only get what you pay for, this outstanding diving watch from Ratio gives you what you paid for and then some!!!!😃 This watch is an amazingly well-designed, purpose-built timepiece that will more than satisfy even the harshest critics of lower-priced, smaller companies' offerings in the realm of deep dive watches!!! Let's first look at the components that go into the building of this very heavy-duty watch. The case and the extremely comfortable band are both made of premium stainless steel to withstand the punishing effects of salt water and salt air environments. The band is a deployment style with a fold-over safety latch on the two-button main clasp to help prevent the misfortune of losing your watch to a poorly designed band and/or clasp. The mirror of this watch is made of sapphire to help withstand the annoying possibility of scratching the mirror that you have to look at all the time. The uni-directional bezel with diver's scale moves crisply and has absolutely no back play. You usually don't find this high-quality component on reasonably priced deep dive watches!!😄 The watch's dial is designed to be easily read at the surface or deep below the sea. The layout is clean and uncluttered, which makes the high-lume hour markers, hour hand, and minute hand easy to see even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The hour hand is a sword shape, while the minute hand is an arrow shape. The difference in appearance also helps to discern the time the watch is showing!!😉 SUPER DESIGN!!!! A very pleasant watch complication included on this Ratio watch is a day and date window in which you can see the day and date without the necessity of a cyclops magnifier!! NICE!!!!😁 This watch is rated as a 1000-meter (or approximately 3,300 feet) waterproof vessel that can take the extreme pressures of deep diving and deep saturation diving!!! For a watch in the $200.00 range, this combination of quality materials, outstanding design, deep water capability, and all-day comfort is unheard of in the circles of watch enthusiasts!! Just to sweeten the pot even more, the Ratio is powered by an NH-36 automatic movement, which is regarded as being as tough as a tank and an ultra-reliable, super-accurate timing device!!! This watch, being a deep dive capable unit, is furnished with a screw-down crown, screw-down rear case cover, and a manually operated helium release valve to purge helium gas from the watch interior during decompression from saturation diving. I don't know how Ratio can engineer and produce such a well-made, feature-packed watch for a price point just south of $200.00!!!😮 This watch from Ratio looks great, performs great, and is priced so that almost anyone can afford a serious dive watch without a serious price!!! I am thoroughly impressed with this Ratio Dive Watch!!!! 🚩I rate this super-functioning watch a super-solid 10 out of 10 because of the quality design, the quality build materials, the purpose-built features that ensure watertightness, the accuracy of the NH-36 movement, and the amazingly affordable price of a watch that could easily sell for three or four times its suggested retail price!!! Maybe the company made a mistake in its pricing!!! Perhaps the price is a typo!!! Whatever the case, if I were you, I would purchase this superior deep dive watch now at the amazingly low price!!! With the variety of dial colors, maybe treat yourself to two different colored watches!! I LOVE THIS WATCH!!!!😊

The first thing I noticed was that I can actually read the day/date. I've been wearing a Citizen ECO drive for a few years; but as I've gotten older, the date is now too small for me to read. The freediver is perfect. It's quite a bit heavier than my 200 meter ECO drive diver, but I think once I get the bracelet adjusted and start wearing it, it won't be a problem. This thing feels like it's built like a tank and seems like it should cost more than it did.

This is a TAG killer. And I’m a big fan of Tag but price is stout. This thing looks great. Feels good and a little heavy. Bought the white face and I’m getting a ton of compliments. I will tell you to buy it. You will like it to. I don’t normally do reviews. But this is a really good surprise and I really like it.

Fantastic watch but it began stopping a few times a month after 10 months of ownership. I'm at the 14 month now and it stops many times a week. Has a 2 year warranty but factory service center won't help and said contact Amazon store. I don't see an option to do that anymore. They would only accept it back within 12 months. So. No 2 year warranty.

A really great looking watch. The way that the face is illuminated, and the choice of a kind of greenish color against a black face makes it easy to read at a glance. Even the choice of the date window's black and white stand out. I ordered it with the metal bracelet which is quite heavy. I'd recommend buying it with the rubber strap to save weight. The only real downside to me is the lack of accuracy. It gains about 8 seconds every day. I think a watch this expensive should keep accurate time.
