I cook all my pups food and this is an easy way to get them the calcium they need in their diet. It’s also much more pleasing to the human cooking the food not to just crush up the egg shells and have big chunks of shell in the food! (Yuck!) thanks for this great product!

We make our own dog food, so it's important to make sure we are supplementing calcium to balance the phosphorus. The quality is consistent, as we have purchased several times. My senior dogs were both showing improved mobility once we started adding this into their food.

I use this in my dogs home made food, it is so easy to use and has no smell or flavor (I tried a bit to test it out). Due to there being no taste, my dog easily eats his food with no fuss and enjoys it. Fantastic quality, there is a lot of product so it will last us months. I believe it also helps with my dogs occasionally itchy skin since he no longer has any issues, although I also rub a bit of organic coconut oil on his fur after each bath which makes his fur so soft and is a natural flea repellant. The texture is so fine your pup won't even notice it, so in my opinion it's better than crushing eggshells yourself since it is not only time consuming but it may not come out as fine of a powder as this product. Your dog will love it and thank you later! Remember to consult a vet and/or pet nutritionist before giving your pet any new supplements. Note: I use this product for my pups food in conjunction with other supplements.

Our beagle has lots of allergies/intolerances to food. We have been buying her kibble for a couple years before I looked at the ingredients. When I saw the about of junk that is being put into dog food, I decided to begin making my own. To be sure her nutritional needs are met, I began adding this eggshell powder. I guess it's possible to make your own with eggshells but, this is much more convenient. She doesn't even notice it there so it must taste good. She eats it right up. It's soft food so it mixes right in. I've noticed her energy level is much improved. Whether it's the food itself of the powder, I really can't be sure. I'm glad I found it and it's not expensive. I only use a small teaspoon in 2 pounds of beef. I will continue to buy this along with cod liver oil to keep our girl healthy.

Unsure if I had to wait until she got used to it but this gave my pup major explosive diarrhea. Unfortunately, i started it during a trip and she exploded at hotel. It was quite a sight when we came back. Had to go to nearest Walmart to get some cleaning supplies and sleep In that same room for two more nights. I never returned it since it’s open so maybe I will risk mine and her life and try it again at home. Wish us luck!
