Our favorite salt alternative seasoning since we first came across it 7 years ago.

This is an upgraded, intensely savoury bouillon powder mixed with dehydrated vegetables. It contains real pieces of carrot, parsnip, potato, onion, and celery. It adds an instant hit of umami to absolutely everything. It is quite salty, so the golden rule of cooking with Vegeta is to hold back on adding extra salt until you've tasted your dish. Vegeta is my secret weapon for rescuing bland dishes. Whether a sauce is missing "something" or a soup tastes too watery, a pinch of this always fixes it. It contains MSG, which gives it that incredible depth, so just keep that in mind if you are sensitive to it

Great spice. Adds great flavor to food

Turn any plain boring dish into and absolute masterpiece with this stuff! I had believed the nonsense about MSG being unhealthy for years but after some serious research I realized it was all made up. This stuff tastes GREAT! Nice large can too and great value for the money. We use this on lots of chicken dishes and pasta too and it really enhances any dish that is lucky enough to have it on it. Buy this now and be the MVP of any meal!

I am REALLY glad I didn't throw away my empty Vegeta container because when this new one arrived, it did not have a plastic lid. The product is sealed with a peal-away metal lid and without the plastic lid, the whole can will go stale and spoil. This product is not eligible for return so buyer beware--- if you have an old container of this, save your lid. If you do not, be prepared to find an alternative to cover this product. This having been said, Vegeta is an amazing product and I use it a lot. It is a great shortcut for making chicken dishes with frozen chicken in the Instant Pot because it gives all those yummy flavors of a developed chicken stock and a little goes a long way. Get it.

Awesome vegetable bullion

Vegeta is more well known in Europe. We were introduced to it by our son’s girlfriend 20 years ago. It adds flavor to many things we cook. The added flavoring may be what they call umami. FYI, There’s nothing HOT Spicy about it.

My go-to seasoning mix! Grew up with that in Germany and missed it so much. Glad I found it here on Amazon even though it is more expensive than in Europe. Tastes great with potatoes!
