Good for both undergraduate & graduate students of Psychology.

Personally, I enjoyed reading this book more than other pop abnormal psychology books. The tables and diagrams proved to be helpful. It is well- written and includes the latest researches. I referred it only for understanding and getting a basic overview of the disorders. The book wasn’t delivered in a cardboard package. A few of the pages were bent. The quality of paper is okay-ish. The book is printed in B&W.

Must read for abnormal psychology
Wonderful book, love the case vignettes and the easy way it flows into a topic. There are several boxes where the information is visually represented. The language is also relatively simple. Glossary is helpful if you are preparing for objective type of examinations.

Good book
The book is well- written, quite comprehensive and a nice read. It's my course text book so I'm happy I got it. But the pages are extremely thin and get easily crumpled even with careful use. In all honesty, it's already a heavy bulky book so I guess they did that on purpose. I recommend getting the soft cover, the hard cover is really bulky and heavy.

Excellent book
I have not yet read the whole book, but I am well into it and it is written in a very good language, it has little exercises along the way, a good clearly glossary. Good illustrations and case study examples. It is after all the 8th edition. So, it is both popular and has gone through a fair amount of revisions. I highly recommend it. I am just disappointed with the condition of the book. While it was new and wrapped in plastic it had been dropped and the corner is dirty and bend!
