Works well but expensive
A good HEPA filter is important. This order includes a new filter plus two very important pre-filters. In my house, my pre-filters only need changing every 6 months because I keep the air purifiers on #1 speed. The purifier indicates when it's time to change the pre-filter or the HEPA. Boy, the pre-filter gets dirty. Just peel it off and apply a new one. You really can see how well the Hunter air purifier is working. The bummer is the cost of the replacement pack...about $50. A high price considering the air purifier was about $65-70. But, the filters work so I have to live with what I bought. You may be able to purchase an off-brand HEPA replacement pack but the price wasn't that different, so I went with the Hunter brand, same as the purifier itself.
