Programmed easily

When I bought my truck, I got it used and it only came with one keyless entry remote. This wasn’t really a problem until I misplaced my keys one day while camping. After searching for hours trying to locate them, I decided to call Chevrolet and ask for a quote on a replacement remote, not much to my surprise the cost was $150.00. Anything you buy at a dealership is expensive and quite literally a ripoff. After much disappointment I decided to check out Amazon to see if I could get the remote cheaper. I ran across this deal, where I could get 2 for just under $20.00. In my mind I was thinking this deal has to be too good to be true. But what the heck, I am only out 20 bucks if they don’t work, and I can return them because Amazon rocks... After receiving my remotes just a few days later, I noticed that the plastic was cheaper looking than my original remote, but no big deal for the money... What else could I expect??? They came with a card inside the packaging that had a web address printed on it. I opened the website, which for some reason didn’t work on my phone, so I used my PC. Found my vehicle make, model and year. Much to my surprise it was very easy to program new remotes, took me about 60 seconds for both remotes. Tried both remotes and they worked great, even the start function worked. This product is as expected in quality, but functioned amazingly well and very easy to program. I would definitely recommend this product.

My original remote quit on me a few times. Sometimes a new battery gets it going again, but lately I'm seeing I needed a new remote. Recently I shopped and found remotes locally. The first one I bought required codes that were hard to see on the little paper. The font must have been (-)4 or some idiotic size on the one I found locally. Setting the codes on that one required me making notes and folllowing steps. Then that one didn't work at all. The one I'm reviewing from Amazon was almost too simple to set up. That's a real good thing. The one from Amazon came quickly so I didn't have concerns about locking my keys in the vehicle with no working remote. Oh the one I bought from Amazon was dirt cheap compared to the other one I found locally ($65.00 plus uncle sam's part). On line setup instructions for the one I gor from Amazon were easy to find. The setup took just two steps and I was in business. I might even buy an additional one just in case.

Couldn't program one of them for whatever reason I think u can only program one at a time ..but the one I programmed works nicely and was not difficult to do so..

Easy to program and work great

I was a bit skeered to try this because I didn't want to be stuck in my driveway with a vehicle that wouldn't move because the fob and/or key would no longer work. I mean, ya know? Even the keys have little transmitters that think they're so smart, and they have to communicate with the vehicle to start properly. I, a child of the '70s, have to say that metal keys and window cranks aren't all bad, knowwhutimean, Vern? At any rate, whereas the original fob gave up the ghost, this here new fob worked beautifully with my trusty, old 2009 Chevy Avalanche. Programming the new fob worked exactly as the instructions said. Quick, easy, and waaaaaay less than the hundreds of dollars it would have taken to get a new fob at the dealership.

Dont have the battery hole in the back very hard to get to work

I ordered this on the 19th, and it arrived on the 24th, which is pretty good for Hawaii and was the expected delivery date. The shipping box was a bit overkill for just this item. The remote came with a battery already installed, so it was good to go. It is being used on a 2009 Hummer H2, which does not require any specialty tools to program / pair with the vehicle. The instruction card pointed me to a website for the programming instructions. I actually used the instructions in the vehicle user manual before I checked online, but the website showed the same steps. This is a four-button remote. Lock & Unlock work with no problem at all. I haven't tried the Panic or the Remote Start buttons yet. This remote is easier to open up for battery replacement than the originals, and I could do with with just fingernails. Right now that's a good thing since I have gouged up the plastic casing on previous remotes prying them open with a screwdriver. Hopefully it stays tightly closed and doesn't loosen up more over time. Great price, fast shipping, easy installation, works perfectly, looks great - what else can you ask for?

I was very Skeptic but compair to what the dealer wanted I thought I would try.At first I thought I throw my money away because the Instructions just did not make since . So I went on Utube watch a 2:26mins video and it took me 1 min to program this FAB . It works great so worth it . Thank you
