NECA - Black Figure Display Stand - Set of 10

Exactly how they’re supposed to be.

I collect NECA horror figures. These are great and fit them. The first set I asked my dad to get me for Christmas. I ended up gluing my figures to these stands. Just one foot. For the heavier figures, these don't work so well for them. For my Alien and Ultimate Pennywise I am going to get the waist stand. The price is ok for these. There is nothing to assemble. If I didn't glue them down, they would just fall over.

It works, but the sole peg that holds the figures foot is too long, which is why I knocked off 1 star. The figure I use it with is 7 inches. I used a Dremel to grind the peg down till the figure was no longer tilting on one side and falling down. I used some sandpaper to smooth out the rough edges before doing a test fit on the figures foot. It probably took 2 minutes to get it to the point where the figure wasn't leaning on one side and a little more incremental grinding/sanding. I recommend it to use with Neca figures.

Finally my figures will not fall over in the middle of the night causing a domino effect of noise, making me think there is a burglar in the house. Only to find out my Neca Alien figures decided to invade my Terminator figures, which in turn took out my Marvel Legends. Just remember the peg doesn't always fit all action figures, mostly for Neca figures. Mostly okay, with a few exception. All of the Neca figures I have fit perfectly.

I purchased these to use with my Metal Gear Solid, Mcfarlane Toys Action Figures and the pegs are too small for the holes in the foot. However, here is a fix I used with the metal from crimp terminals with the red plastic cover. Do the following: 1. Remove the metal from the plastic cover. 2. Break or use snips to remove the forked or circular end. 3. Use smaller needle-nose pliers to expand the metal. 4. Insert the expanded metal into the figure’s foot. 5. Slide the metal / foot over the plastic peg (be gentle). These stands are made out of very brittle and cheap plastic. These are not like the ones that came with your toys or the ones that came with the smaller actions figures.

This is my first time buying these and, as to the stands themselves I think they're well made. But do be aware. If you're buying them to display Star Wars Black Series figures, the pegs might not fit them. I was able to trim the pegs down a bit with no trouble, but if that's not your thing, you might want to reconsider.
