Lightweight so you can fix to the cupboards either side. We threaded the cable through the cupboards and then down to the plug socket. If you have it not going through to the outside , make sure you read instructions for the bit inside (circle thing) to take the air through to the top. You can use half the filter when bought as you can get two out of one, as it smaller than the filter. Hope this helped?

It looks good, the electrician said it was easy to put up etc, but by heck it’s loud. Shakes, rattles and thumps. Hubby has stood on a ladder and tried all the usual things, such as holding it, taping the pipe down, and generally trying to find the cause of the noise, but no luck ☹️The suction on level one doesn’t hold up a bit of kitchen paper, but 2 and 3 does, but by then 3 and 4 are so loud we literally had to shout to be heard. You wouldn’t be able to sit and eat in kitchen with this on. I picked this one because it was the quietest one I could find!!!It’s NOT quiet.

This product is really good quality it’s all stainless steel and replaced our old one but be aware that there is a lot of cutting and fettling if you are replacing an old unit, the external vent port was bigger than the original so it required an adapter to work.
