It's still early days, but... UPDATE (Feb 2024)
The media could not be loaded. Update Feb 2024:Still going strong! Almost. The foam padding pieces have split and cracked in several areas. The foam piece around one of the handles is completely gone. But, overall, it still works well. We use it once a week on our door frame, and my wife and I do about an hour of pull ups on it. We have our own foam padding on the door frame to protect it. And, although the missing one for the hand grip is gone, it still works fine without it. Just get some gloves if your hands are sensitive. Anyways, this is still the best door frame pull up bar system I think that is out there. We've been doing pull ups using rings over tree branches and various other structures. It's great but tiring to keep finding places that is able to support the rings. So, I decided to try this out.It was easy to assemble. We put it on our door frame, and the pull up bar felt uneven. It jutted out on the side. Maybe it's our door frame that's uneven. Who knows. But, once weight is applied down force on the pull up bar, it securely latches to the door frame. Our door frame opening is 34" x 80". And, although I picked this bar in particular because of the elevated pull up bar giving higher clearance, I'm just over 5'9", and I can still touch the floor at full dead hang. So, it requires that I bend my knees so my feet are off the ground. For my wife, though, it's perfect. Regardless, it's still high enough that I don't have much problems doing pull ups. However, if you are taller than I am, you may want to check your door frame height. Or, if you're comfortable with curling your feet up doing pull ups, then this could work. Finally, although it fits our 34" frame, I think it's a stretch. There's maybe an inch of support on either side to hold the bar. Also, even though the support bar is padded on the frame, it did dent our wooden molding a bit. So, I had to add some extra stryofoam padding to the molding frame to help protect that area.Anyways, here's a video of me doing 13 dead hang pull ups on my 5th set. Doing pull ups on a static bar is much easier than doing them on rings. But, not bad for a 50 y.o.

Exercise bar
I bought this for my 50 year son that lives in an apartment where space is limited!! He loves it. Good job on the design.

Missing parts
Missing parts. No hardware to assemble. Box was crushed and torn and placed inside a shipping box

Too flimsy
Too many parts. IMHO main bar should be a solid piece instead of connection in a middle with a sharp bolt which is not safe to use. Manufacturer puts wrong washers in this kit. So I've replaced washers on simple ones instead of cutted ones and the middle nut in a main bar on cap nut which has rounded surface. Also all grips are sliding along the tubes which is also affecting the consumer properties.I'm not returning the item only because my son wants to use it every day and I have no time for experiments with different types of pull bars.

Works
Great product. Just make sure you put some screws around it for extra support cause these bars are known for falling. Also bows a little when on it and I'm only 185 pounds. So we'll see.

Best chin-up station on the market!!!
The best thing about this chin-up station is it sits above the door jam. It is not only a chin-up station, but works as a push up device as well as getting those love handles ripped into a 6-pack! Highly recommend!!!

Very solid chin up bar
Very easy to put together and very strong. I like the elevated bar for a full range of motion.
