Makes the hubby's legs look like a swimmer's
If my hubby wears the nude coloured socks, he appears as though he's shaved, and it is quite humourous. (:I was super excited for some compression socks that were something other than black, which is what I've had previously. I have larger calves, since I grew up playing soccer and softball, as well as merely being born with them, so getting anything that goes higher than the ankle is a more tedious task, as not everything will fit their shape. Such is the case with these, so I sadly wouldn't recommend them if you have a larger build like myself and don't like when the fabric creates new, unnecessary curves on the legs. However, I recommend if this isn't a concern of yours, whether you simply don't care or have a slimmer physique on the lower appendages. They are perfect for my lanky hubby, and he's had a good time wearing them to work and walking the dog, as he's always complaining about being cold, the poor sap; something about -5% body fat or bad circulation or something. We've seen improvement when he wears these, so when he wants to use the heater at night, I make him put on his sockies. (;

Just what I needed
Anyone with problems with swollen ankles and/or poor circulation, these are great! They are in different colors so you can match with different outfits, comfortable, pretty easy to put on...you can pretty much wear them with anything and sheer enough to fit into shoes. Wearing them prevents my ankles from swelling, and I believe I have more energy for walking and am more sure-footed wearing these. They would begreat for men or women, I think. My doctor had suggested I get compression socks and when he saw me wearing a pair of these andchecked my ankles, he told me that these socks were great.

I’ve been wearing these for the last few days and I am very impressed! I am a surgical tech and on my feet all day, so these help greatly with aching, swelling, etc. and I overhear easily, and they don’t make me too warm. My only complaint is they roll a bit at the top and irritate my skin... but I am very short, so it’s only because they hit right behind my knee. It’s my legs, not the socks lol. I highly recommend them so far! Oh also, I have very thick calves, and worried that the s/m would be too small, but they are not!!

For me they have been nearly a miracle
I have a long history of balance problems and more recently of drops in blood pressure when I do heavy work, especially in hot weather, that makes me weak and shaky and forces me to set or lay down until my blood pressure increases. Prior to a recent joint regular medical appointment with our doctor I had a blackout while on the top of a ladder removing a ceiling light fixture. My wife had a good view of the occurrence as she was on another ladder, facing me while holding up the other end of the fixture. I should note that we have joint doctor appointments because I am hard of hearing and she is there to assist in communicating and because she doesn't trust me to tell the doctor everything.so the black out was revealed and I have been banned from climbing ladders in the future. Probably a good thing since I fall frequently at ground level due to lack of balance and dizzy spells.While feeling my ankles the doctor instructed me to start wearing compression socks so I assumed they were only to reduce minor swelling of my ankles. Not knowing what level of compression was required I ordered one pack of t pair of these Bluemaple socks and two pair of " medical grade best compression socks" for $14.55. I got as far as putting one of the more expensive so called best compression socks on after a considerable struggle and then came close to having to cut it off to restore circulation of blood to my lower leg and even though it was only on for a few minutes it left an ugly red welt around my 14" circumference leg below the knee. Needles to say both pair were returned.The Bluemaple socks have been far better than expected and for me just short of a miracle and I am writing this more as information for anyone who might be suffering from my combination of low blood pressure and balance / dizziness problems than a commercial for the socks.While waiting for the order to arrive I had a fairly serious fall an jammed one wrist and did a pretty good job of remodeling my nose, the problem being that once I lose balance I don't have the ability to correct and a fall is pretty much assured. I have to laugh at the questions on medical forms asking if I have fallen in the last 6 months or so because three days would be more appropriate.I have been wearing these socks pretty much 24/7 since 8-30-17 and I am writing this on 7-5-17. Since I have started wearing them I have had no episodes of low blood pressure, although it must be said that there has been no extremely hot weather and I have not had occasion to work extremely hard. Having said that however I have not had a single dizzy spell, fallen down once or had to stagger around to get my balance after getting out of bed or out of a chair. I just get up and walk away like I did years ago. Still can't stand on one foot with my eyes closed but that might be asking too much.Most striking, and something that I can put numbers on, has been the change in blood pressure. There have been no drops in blood pressure into the below 90 over 60 range that initiates weakness and shakes. The lowest my blood pressure has gone has been 108-73 so far. I have been a little concerned about the rise on the other hand because readings in the mid 130 - mid 80 range have been common but these are far from dangerous.If things keep up this way I may ask for a lifting of the ban of climbing ladders at our next doctor's appointment.It took a little while to learn how to get them on and off easily off but that is to be expected. They aren't like regular socks. I am so pleased with them that I ordered two more packs of black ones that can function as dress socks as well as summer work socks. As they stay up better than any sock I have ever owned I have no doubt that they will also serve well as inner liners for winter socks without increasing bulk all that much.Charles Leach

Not tight but still effective
I own compression socks from different brands and this is not as tight as those. Having said that, they still work because after work, my legs are not sore/tired. So now, these are my go to compression socks as they are easier to put on. It does not dig on my skin and the length is perfect. Also, cant beat the price. I have already washed them and they are still holding up.
