The wife & I really like this machine. We've been K-cup coffee drinkers for 10+ years now. However I'm not crazy about the number of Keurig brewers I've had to buy over that time span - they're not the most reliable machines, especially for their cost. So when our latest Keurig started behaving badly I decided to go with a different manufacturer. This machine is compact, quiet, and simple to use. The 40 oz reservoir is a good size and very easy to fill. I'm especially thrilled it cost about 1/2 what a typical Keurig branded machine would cost. Let's hope we'll be enjoying it for years to come.

I've been through 2 Keurig machines, even after fixing each multiple times. This machine lacks the electronic programming features of of the Keurigs, however, it is immediately apparent how much faster the unit is. It warms up fast, even nearly 2 months later I'm still amazed that it warms up so fast. I am 90% pleased. My last 10% is my own fussiness, I wish it had a programmable timer, I wish it would fit under my upper cupboard and still be easy to insert a k-cup and refill the water, instead I have to pull it forward every day. I am under the impression that it is well built, at least better than the Keurigs, and the water pump sounds stronger, yet smoother. There is another nearly identical coffee maker on Amazon, the "Mueller Austria", that I guess was the original version of this, and they sold the rights. It gets almost 5 star reviews, this one averages 4-stars, I don't know why, they seem to be the same except for the color and so I decided to gamble and go for the aesthetic over the extra star. So far very pleased. I see no reason to ever buy another Keurig, what a waste of hundreds of dollars, time, and frustration. (5 MONTH)UPDATE: Still going strong and fast, however after reading several of the 1 star reviews I can see where taking the time to make sure the water pathways in AND out of the k-cup are clean and clear is important. Just like every other coffee maker, they build up some grounds over time, and need maintenance. Other than that, I'm still overall pleased with the purchase.1 year update: Still pleased, used daily, Oh I should mention, I ONLY run distilled water in all my coffee makers to preclude sediment build-up.2 year update: Running well, used many times daily, minimal maintenance (Just clean as mentioned previously), still heats fast. For the $60 I spent, this has proven to be an excellent purchase, would definitely replace with the same or comparable unit when it dies. I do have one additional very minor complaint. when the water canister is less than 1/2 full, it vibrates against the machine during brewing, annoying, I had to place a tiny sticky felt tab in between the canister and the slot for the canister, to absorb the movement, prior I just refilled it off after a couple cups.

~~~~~ REVISION~~~~~ The customer service for AICOK is FANTASTIC. We hope that the problem I was having with the coffee maker is an isolated problem as they have not had any other complaints. I have a new coffee maker and will see if it happens again. I really love this coffee maker. It is a nice size on your counter, not big and bulky like other coffee makers, and the reservoir comes off easily so it's easy to fill and clean. ~~~Previous Review~~~~ I loved this coffee maker for the 3 weeks that it worked. It started brewing only 1/2 a cup no matter what setting you used. I did all the troubleshooting that the book said to do....nothing worked. I called Amazon and they put me in touch with Aicok. Aicok took 24 hrs to get back with me, then they wanted me to send a video of what the coffee maker was doing. Aicok told me that they would send me another coffee maker and for me to keep the old one. After I sent the video, they replied 24 hrs later, that they would just refund my money.

Upon initial use this was a good coffee maker and the perfect size for us. After 3 week the coffee maker did not produce the correct cup amount. I reset the machine per the manual to no avail. I contacted Amazon customer and was given a phone # and e-mail address. A weeks worth of call continually were directed to a full voice mail box. Then began a series of e-mails. The first four were ignored. Then a series of requests for more info. After including Amazon in the e-mils I was offered a refund or a new coffee maker. I replied that another coffee maker would be fine, thing this would be the easier route. It has been 2 months and I still have no coffee maker. I will never recommend or purchase anything from this company.

Love how quiet this operates; however it only lasted about 4 weeks then it started making noise and wouldn't suck up enough water to make a full cup before it shut off. Returned item and ordered a replacement. Will update later on durability of this one.UPDATE: received another Aicok coffee maker and it quit pumping water after two weeks. Returning again and looking for another brand.

Had to replace a three year old one cup machine from Aldi's and did not want a big expensive Keurig with a short life span. Have other things on the counter.Does not come with a reusable cup for ground coffee. Since we got several bags for Xmas and the old one did not fit, I called customer service. There seemed to be some translation difficulties using email but they tried to make me happy by sending me another machine! You can hear it when it is on but not really loud.
