Got these yesterday. Couldn’t wait to try. Got strictly for fun. Wife, may have liked them more than me. Never tried them before. Started with number two and couldn’t do number three. I can’t imagine going much larger than the third one. But it was pleasurable.

These are lighter weight but seem to be good quality. Smooth. Also smooth etching of sizes engraved on each dilator. The case is nice enough but I don’t anticipate the zipper holding up. Zipper is crap and catches rather than smooth closure.

While it would have been great if they rose in .5 increments, these work great!

I purchased these to help with a medical condition I have, Urethral Bulbar Stricture. To steer away from a VERY invasive surgical procedure, I purchased these Sounds to stretch my urethral. Let me start by saying that yes, I believe that they have helped in my particular case. I went very slow, used plenty of lube, and was able to work my way up to the 3rd sized sound (which I never did get fully inserted) in a couple of weeks. I am currently urinated with a much stronger stream. That's the positive, now for the negative: These are way too short, maybe 6"? Don't get me wrong, my insert able penis length is only slightly longer than 6", but in order to reach the area of my urethral that needs stretched, where the "Stricture" is located, the sounds need to be at least double the length, maybe more. Here's the thing, your penis is going to get erect, there's no stopping it, and the entire sound disappears (which really freaked me out at first), and you still haven't gotten to the stricture. So, I had a good procedure going were I would use a vibrator on the underside of my penis to massage the urethral while gently forcing it down though the outside of my urethral channel (the underside of my penis) and the sounds would finally get past the point of the stricture, effectively stretching the problem area. Sounds good, right? The problem is, even though both ends of the sounds are very smooth and rounded, my urethral is so thin and tender, I must have torn something while trying to move it further down the shaft from the outside of my penis. Think of trying to squeeze a marble through a water hose and you will get the picture. I peed blood for a solid week, and was spotting occasionally for another week. 2 weeks have went by without any blood at all, but I am still a little sore down there. So, while these have helped me, I will not be using them anymore. I will be looking to purchase some longer sounds so I can control the insertion better (SLOW, SLOW, SLOW) and avoid doing any further damage to my urethral.
