It fits!
I am a plus sized woman with thighs too large to purchase a brace in your average drug store. This brace was perfect for me. I work out five days a week and am also a part of my dance ministry. I’ve used it constantly since I purchased it and it’s still in great condition. It’s strong enough to support me yet flexible enough that I can dance in it. My knee pain has significantly decreased and I’ve recommended this brace to my other friends with knee issues.

Be sure to measure appropriately
I finally got chance to use my BraceAbility Open Patella/Open Back Sleeve today and it worked really really well! I started water aerobics a week ago and was in tremendous pain after the one hour workout which prompted me to do an Amazon search for an aid for my knee, hence, the BraceAbility. I was able to complete the workout as before, but I knew the happy ending came when I was able to walk up the steps out of the pool with NO pain in that bad knee🤗! I must also say, go with the manufacturer recommendation of measurements for the proper fit. I initially did that and ordered a medium sleeve then I read a review that stated how small theirs was, blah blah blah, and I cancelled my original order and reordered a large, it was way too big, so I ended up reordering the medium and it was the perfect fit, it was tight as it should be and served it's purpose well.

I will not be keeping this.
First. This knee sleeve is hot as hell. When I took it off there was a huge black mark on my leg that will not come off. I used alcohol and I used acetone and it’s still there. It’s the label information that was printed on the inside. I was hoping to wear it to a pool party tomorrow to help stabilize my knee after knee replacement surgery. I’m never putting this on again.

Great brace for my aqua exercise class!
My right knee needs to be replaced, but I have to lose weight before they will do it. With my severe arthritis, water exercise was the best way to get moving, tone up, hopefully lose some weight, and be low to no impact on my joints. About 1 month into my new exercise program, I started to have more swelling than normal, and more pain than normal in my right knee. I decided to try a brace for water activities to see if it might give me the support I need while exercising in my hour long class. Well, it did the trick. This brace gives me so much support and stays put during my class. I've noticed it needs to be adjusted again after I first start moving in class. It needs to be completely saturated with water, adjusted, then it stays in place the entire time. I love this brace!

My 96 Year Old Mom Loves This
My Mom is 96 and has to use a walker all the time to get around. Her knee felt like it was going to give out on her and we had tried a copper infused knee brace but that was too tight on her swollen leg and made things worse. When I found this brace that you buy buy measuring your upper and lower leg to find the right size I was very hopeful that this would work, and I was not disappointed.Mom says she likes that it doesn't add to the swelling in her leg, that the hole for the knee leaves her kneecap free to move without effort, and the open space in the back just behind the kneecap where her leg bends makes it easy to walk with the brace on. High praise from my Mom!

Works well enough when it stays up
I don't know if this would stay up better on someone with more slender legs, but it tended to slide down my daughters' leg (a little bit heavy set girl). We had to switch to a brace with straps to stay in place better. When it wasn't sliding down, the brace did seem to provide support to her kneecap, which likes to pop out of place.

Very pleased with this knee sleeve.
I have a very bad knee and my aqua aerobics were really bothering it and limiting what I could do. It really helps a lot wearing it in the pool. It is a salt water indoor pool and I use it about 3 -4 times a week and it has held up well. I just hang it to dry when I get home. It dries relatively fast. I am very happy with this product. I went by the size chart to order and it fit like it was suppose to.

Returned it. Wouldn't stay in place.
I did the measurements like they suggested. The calf fit fine. The top fit too, except it wouldn't stay up. It slid down and crumpled up at the knee. It was actually painful behind the knee where it should have been open. The material gathered there. I returned it. Disappointed.
