I didn’t read all the reviews . I didn’t realize it is just like a backpack ! It is only fabric. Not a usual sturdy cover !Amazon often fools you.It folds up flat. Like getting a blouse from amazon. New purchase I would have bought a sturdy one plasticMaybe the lid of the carrying case. Buy only one item!

Very nicely made and sturdy!
First of all, the cover is quality. The material is nice and thick and the pockets are lovely. I would 100% recommend!Secondly, make sure you are not like me and you measure your serger! It does not fit the Bernina 1300MDC - it is too short and too narrow. This was on me for not measuring and assuming the serger in the photo was the same size as mine. Whoops! If they had/have this in a bigger size I will be purchasing it again in the correct size.
