The shorts look like the picture and are super soft. I love the fabric. I am 5’5 and approximately 175 pounds. I bought the xl, but I could have gone with large easily. I usually wear a size 12 or 14 (occasionally) and so I thought xl would provably be more accurate. To me, they run a little big and the drawstring was so enormously long that I had to cut it shorter. Also, when I washed them in my non agitating washer, the drawstring came out completely (this was before I cut it shorter) and I had to take 30 mins to put it back in. I will keep these because they are flattering and are super soft. They dry quickly too and they have a panty underneath, which is awesome for swimming. I would buy them again, but in a large instead.

I purchased these same shorts from another Amazon seller, but in a different color. I had purchased XL, because many reviews were saying you need to size up at least 2 sizes. When I got the 1st pair, they were a bit looser than I thought they'd be. Wore them to the beach and they got a bit bigger in the water. SonI decided to get a 2nd pair in a different color. I ordered these grey ones in a large, they fit perfect, and were great at the beach. So for me, these were true to size. They dry quickly, and are made of a swimsuit material. The grey pictured was a bit lighter, it is actually more of a charcoal color. But I figured that because other images from other sellers had the darker grey. They are great little shorts!

I have a pair of Nike swim shorts that I have had for a few years. I love them and was looking for a replacement. Nike does not make the same ones so I thought I would try these. While the fabric is not as heavy and may not last as long, the fit is similar. Price is good.

I had been looking through so many shorts on Amazon. I was looking for quick-dry, actual shorts for kayaking, to go over my swimsuit. I had read so many summaries. We’ve all been there. I decided on these shorts and another brand (which will be here shortly). One thing I wasn’t expecting was bathing suit bottoms. So many listings use multiple keywords that may or may not apply in many circumstances. However (!), I can’t say I’m upset in the ones I received. I wasn’t expecting a panty in shorts I received. I tried these on over my undies and they fit perfect. I’m not upset lol. I did have to size up. I normally wear a 20/22 depending on brand and my weight fluctuations. I bought a 24/3x. I have wide hips/big badonkadonk. The waist isn’t very stretchy. The rest is.The one thing I didn’t catch was in the checkout. I just did a double check band it was my fault for not checking the box to have these delivered in Amazon packaging. I will attach a picture with how they came without additional packaging. I thought someone went to steal my package, saw what was inside, and tossed them until I saw the mail sticker lol. Just a heads up.

These were delivered today, I tried them on and loved them! They are flattering and comfortable. Most bathing suits I’ve ordered online are XL. I got these in a L and they fit perfect. My issue is I peeled the hygiene sticker off that was on the inside liner and it was so sticky that it left glue residue behind. I tried washing by hand with hot water and Dawn. I then washed them In the washing machine but it’s still so sticky I cannot wear them unless I cut the liner out. I don’t see any other reviewers with this complaint so maybe it’s just the pair I got. I would have liked to order other colors but now I am hesitant.

I ordered two pair of these in June 2020 when I got a new paddleboard. I've been wearing these out on the water almost every weekend since then! I bought pink and light blue originally, and they both eventually faded a bit, but they were used a LOT. They are very comfortable, well made, and the colors are vibrant. The fabric is lightweight and stretchy.[Note that these come with a white 'panty' sewn inside. I hate those, so I immediately cut them out of all four pairs. Also, the drawstring isn't sewn in place in the back, so if you're not careful it will pull through in the wash. Neither of these make me like them less, but I wish there were an option to not have the built-in panty. ]

I placed an order for Athleta bathing suit shorts (after 3 years my previous AthletA purchase dry rotted, but I loved the fit). I placed an order at Athleta and it never came in .... their inventory was off. I needed a bathing bottom pronto, so I ordered this on Prime to get in 2 days. I normally wear Medium (currently a size 6), and for this I ordered a /medium. It does fit, and it looks good, but if I weighed a few pounds more, I would have to buy a large for this company. Only worn a few times, but has been durable so far and still looks brand new.

They are true to size but show every fat wrinkle you have. They are clingy to the thighs. But since I'm wearing them for my hot tub purposes they will do. I definitely wouldn't wear them to a public setting.
