Works great and fits great.Originally received one with a broken clip, but the seller was kind enough to send me a replacement very quickly and without needing to return the broken one.It keeps my iPod safe and free of extra scratches and it looks nice too.

I was stuck trying to find a case for my Ipod classic 5th gen and this thing fits like a glove! I feel like my device is very secure. I definitely recommend.

The case itself is solid and offers some grip to the device when in hand. For the price I don’t think it’s necessarily bad, but it is a scratch magnet. I’ve only had it for a few weeks now and in person it the back looks rough with the silver back plate. It does not add too much bulk to the original size. I am using a thin backplate and it does wiggle somewhat so this may be meant for a thick backplate for a snug fit. Once it’s installed it can be tricky trying to remove it so be sure to clean off any dust from the case and iPod.

POS item. They have sent three and none of them will clip shut around iPod. Don’t buy.

Let me get this out of the way from the start:There are two types of iPod in the later gens, and they are referred to as thick and thin. There's a couple ways to tell, but the main way is looking at the port. You'll have to pull up pics to compare, but the thick and thin get their names from the obvious difference in thickness.Anyone in the reviews saying it didn't fit are because they have a thick iPod, and this case is only for the thin variant.For the thin 7th Gen, this fits great! I got it to product the fresh look after doing a flash mod, expanded battery, and finished it all off with a new shell. Makes me more likely to keep this in my pocket without concerns of scratches. Headphone hole could be a bit bigger, I'm gonna have to drill it a bit to allow one specific pair of headphones to plug in but that one causes issues on multiple devices so I won't fault the shell for that.I love that it covers the screen too, something I forgot was a thing before the advent of touch screens

Know that if you have the Elite Obsolete "atomic" faceplate, you will need to order a case SPECIIFICALLY for the 5th gen iPod "Video" regardless of what generation your iPod is internally. This isn't the seller's fault, but hopefully my review saves the next person a little heartbreak.

Protects my iPod from scratches well enough… wouldn’t try dropping it from big heights though, because of that HHD in the iPod, would probably kill it… looks good, feels like good plastic, it’s a good case if you want to show your iPod’s beauty while still protecting it.
