I studied poker tables to death and at various sites. I wanted to keep the price down but the reviews were never solid across the board and the pictures left me wondering, should I. I finally decided to spend extra for this table, since it's the focal point of the room; and am I glad I did!! This is a very attractive set that shows off it's quality in every aspect. Very heavy and, as one reviewer stated, doesn't dent easily. It looks good with the poker side up or table top up for other games. There's no mistaking this for a dining room table. It looks like a games table either way.I'd like to say something about the shipping too. It arrived on time and the guys brought everything in to the room the table was going; believe me you don't want to try and move the boxes around yourself. The outer shipping boxes looked like they went through a war yet there wasn't even a scratch on the table or chairs. The company spent a lot of time and cost to pack it and their effort was the same quality as their product. Assembly was easy for one with all the tools provided. You do need two people to lift the top but that's all.If you're wondering what poker table set to buy you won't go wrong with this one.

We looked at many sets here in our local community and the price was extremely prohibitive so we decided to take a chance on this. We were pleasantly surprised. It was delivered in a timely manner. The boxes were well packaged. Communication regarding the shipment was a little more challenging as it was required that an adult be home to receive it. This could be improved as we were a little unsure as to the specific time it was going to arrive. There was some assembly required but it is minimal. The directions are less than perfect but if you are a little bit mechanically inclined you should be able to figure it out. It is very heavy and seems reasonably well finished and a good value. This should serve our needs for many years. The seats are comfortable and it is attractive. I like that the seats are adjustable because I am short. It would be helpful for those deciding to purchase if there was more information available in the listing along with additional photographs. I believe this would make it easier for those deciding to feel more definitive about it. This definitely requires two people to move and set it up.

For the money, this is an outstanding product! Solid construction, good joinery, good solid construction. I believe these are made from "rubberwood", a material with which I'm not experienced, but it's heavy and solid, doesn't dent easily, and looks good with thefinishes applied. The chairs are amazingly well padded and assembled, and look very well. Assembly was easy using only hardware andhex wrench provided. This is a very heavy table! Two people are necessary to lift the table base and table top to assembly position. The table top is a bit plastic looking (polywood?) but the game side has a cushioned fabric playing service and drink and chip holders that look good and appear durable. All kinds of problems with the seller, Amazon/CYMAX, over two months to receive, but the seller stood good for a sizeable cash discount for our inconvenience, the product is way better than expected. Will shop through CYMAX again. Durability.....time will tell.Recommend to all

this is a very nice build table and the chairs are rolling so its very cool.

This set is beautiful. It wasn't too hard to put together either. Seats are wider than some others and very comfortable. Only wish there were coasters in the drink spots but obviously that is something that you can put in.

Very attractive but most important it is very well made and built strong. My first impression was that they look somewhat regal. The chair is large enough for a large person and fully adjustable. The leather padding on the back and seat seems to be very high quality and is well secured. Only 4 screws required to assemble these chairs. I have three that we will be using in our dinette. I have looked at many poorer quality chairs at higher prices before settling on these. Highly recommended! They are made in China but Hillsdale clearly has a strong quality control program at the factory.
