There are few perfect objects in the world, but in my opinion, this is one of them. From a practical standpoint, it's exactly the food container I wanted. From an delight-my-inner-child standpoint, yippee! The sushi themed art is almost stereotypical Japanese kitsch, which my grown daughter is gonna love, but maybe not much as I do. I wanted something with discreet compartments so I could pack her a kit of snacks for plane travel. This is perfect! It's really sturdy and double-walled, without being huge and bulky. The lid is made of rubbery material that seals around each of the internal compartments keeping them completely separated and leak-proof. The four latches on the sides keep the lid pressed down tightly, making it a little difficult to pull the lid off, but is brilliant in keeping everything in its place. Inside it's about 1.3" deep, so I think it'll hold plenty for my purposes. It comes with the most adorable spork and chop sticks, and it'll go in the dishwasher, freezer, and microwave! Hopefully my girl will be able to use this for many trips to come, and maybe for work lunches, too.Here's the plan-- dark chocolate pieces in one compartment, Laughing Cow cheese wedges in another, whole wheat crackers with sliced summer sausage in the biggest opening, pecans, and berries in the last two. Better than anything you could get on a plane!

Yes! This bento box is amazing! I didn't expect much for the price but it's very sturdy and has a good weight to it, I'm very surprised with the quality of it. My daughter has been using it for a couple of weeks now and I haven't had any leaks at all, we've put yogurts, ketchup and dips in it with no problem. The box is easy to wash and I can see it lasting for at least a couple of years, maybe longer. I definitely recommend buying this product

My youngest son is 2 and has special needs. He is about to start Day Care and needs to bring his lunch, I needed something divided, sturdy, and easy to use. But most of all I wanted something NON SLIP. From the pictures it appeared that this had a rubberized base, so it wouldn't slide around and my son wouldn't throw it as easily. However, upon receiving it the lid is rubberized, but the bottom of the Bento box is a smooth plastic. Thus, I had to get innovative. I found these Rubber Bumper Pads and adhered them to the bottom of the box and viola! I now have the perfect box! Thanks!

This is a nice simple bento box. I like to pack my preschooler PB n j for lunch as it does not need any heating and such. But unfortunately the sand which doesn’t fit the proper way so I have to improvise. Lol a little annoying ! Seems sturdy tho. Had this for a few months and it’s doing well. Tough to close but that is to be expected if the thing is water proof.

My niece loves the lunch box for her pre-K cafeteria time.Though the difficulty is the first time trying to pry open the box took once a bit of effort, but afterward sealing and opening the box took minimal effort.I was beginning to be scared as I though the box was suppose to be that difficult every time, and I was wanting to have my niece out food items with sauces without them having to scatter across with other foods when she has the lunch box in her backpack.

It's a cute little water-tight bento box. I'm only giving it four stars because the cups are too shallow to carry a hard boiled egg, but that is a very specific shortcoming and does not mean you shouldn't consider it unless you are as big a hard boiled egg fan as I am.

It’s a little tough to open but I’m sure that’s what makes it leak proof. I love it and couldn’t be happier with its sturdy quality and cute pink design. The spoon is awkward though. There’s no real place for the spoon. I bought a bando lunch box to hold it and it fits perfectly.

These are the best lunch boxes ever. Our girls love them and want to use them all the time!!!!! Also the gasket system on these is unreal. Very well designed
