Brabantia New Icon Step Trash Can (5.3 Gal/White) Soft Closing Kitchen Garbage/Recycling Can with Removable Bucket

I love it. It's a great quality product and is smartly and beautifully designed. What can I say, you can tell it's a European product. Shame on us for not being able to design something so simple elegantly. On why it functions well: holds bags in place, completely sealed (no roaches here!), slow-closing lid, no mechanism problems, durable, and well-sized. If I had ANY TINY criticism (more of a suggestion), it would be that I would love an option for the lid to hold open.I initially didn't want to spend this amount on a garbage can, but now have no regrets, and am displaying it with pride in my kitchen.

When my old kitchen garbage can bit the dust, it was a challenge to find a new one. I have a small kitchen, and most cans are much too big, or much too small. This one is just the right size. It is sturdy well made, and a lovely white color.

Cute little trash can. Looks really nice in my bathroom. The issue I have, it slides on my tile floor. If I push it all the way against the wall the lid bangs on the wall when I open it. Otherwise happy with it.

When I lived in Europe Brabantia was the local Simple Human when it came to trash cans. Quality and great design at an affordable price.I wanted a robust matt black trash can for my toilet and that's exactly what I got. So glad I did not get a cheap one at Target.

Keeps my grandchildren and dog out of the trash. Big enough that it is useful in the bathroom and small enough to fit in the bathroom. Lid closes gently. I like this product and so does the rest of the family.

The trash can was packed with dents because the dents are outward not inward. This tell me the quality check was not done. So frustrating!

I've had a smaller Brabantia model for years and I loved it. Unfortunately it was too small for me so I looked for a larger alternative. I was already familiar with Brabantia quality and durability good looks, so I had no hesitation when I found this model. Good job Brabantia!
