This is so easy to use! It's perfect for infusing oils and butters. I love that it will stir it and keep it at at the right temperature for the right amount of time. This takes all the guess work out of it. I highly recommend, especially since it is much more affordable than others.

We got this to make some infusion butters and some tinctures.It arrives ready to plug in and use.It comes with basic directions.The unit is itself is ok.The motor stopped spinning several times during use.To test it out we attempted to make basil butter to use on home made bread.We put softened butter and the basil in the hopper.We pressed the preset butter option.it was supposed to run for 30 minutes but it ran for abuot a minute and stopped working.We cleaned out the machine and just finished it by hand.The next day we tried the machine again, with no butter or anything in it.It ran the full cycle when it was empty.I do not think the first time was an issue with the butter being too thick because it was very soft when we attempted to make it.We would not buy this again.

WITANHURST Herbal Oil and Butter Maker Machine,This works but it is not as seamless and automatic as the advertising lead me to believe.I started out with garlic butter and while it was easy, getting the setting to click wasn't that easy. It sounds like an aircraft taking off and the starting and stopping of the motor blade didn't put me at ease. There is nothing in the description that explains that so I am not sure if it is normal or not. The interior has a blender blade that whips the ingredients together while gently heating it. The pre-sets are a bit hard to understand to read through the manual before even attempting to try this thing out.Once I got the hang of it - I found this actually works well and everything came out as expected - yes, with that kind of butter. There is minimal odor and the outside of the unit gets warm but not burning hot. It comes with butter stick forms in silicone that work extremely well. I ended up using very fine cheesecloth and a metal strainer rather than the weird one that is some sort of vinyl with a built-in sieve. That is just impossible to clean. Use room temperature butter for the best results.I have not tried this with making tinctures or oils but it looks pretty straight forward and I will attempt that once I get my nerve back again to conquer this beast. The temperature guidelines are spot on but again I need to practice with this more. I do want to make some calendula salve that I normally make in my crockpot and I think that might be my next attempt when my flowers dry out. Bigger pieces of your herbs are easy to strain than finer blends. It is better to minimal process the herbs or floral rather than pulverize them. Also, I found that any more than 2 cups of any oil or butter is a stretch - I would not use more than that. It doesn't blend well with more ingredients.Now on to the I LOVE LUCY portion of this mess. You can clean the interior quite easily by adding one or two drops of dishwashing soap and about 1.5 cups of water and hit the CLEAN function. Do not add too much soap or it will foam everywhere. Yes, I did that. It was super easy to clean up and that function works really well. I think this will be perfect for my needs as I work through my anxiety with new appliances. This may well be a 5-star processor but I still need to be more confident in how to use it.

First time using it. I get all my product ready, Turn on the machine. And get an E for error. User Manual has no troubleshooting. Website link provided doesn’t work. Nothing to be found on the web. So mad.

This works pretty well once you get it all figured out, We've made infused butters with it and they have turned out great.It's not as 'push button' as the description would leave to to believe it is, but it's not too tough to figure out using the manual.Let that butter get soft (room temp) before trying to use it and you'll be fine.
