Close your eyes. Think “jeans.” Now open. They were 501 Originals®, right? With a classic straight leg and iconic styling, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of modern jeans in existence—burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss (the man himself!) introduced them in 1873. To this day they’ve never gone out of style. And they never will.

Great Jeans
Just received these. Tried them on.The fit is very good.I initially read reviews before ordering, the info about accuracy of fit was all over the place.I’m 5’5”, 112 lbs, 26 waist, 35 hip, these jeans are 25, standard, medium indigo.Barring any flaws they are as described on the site.If any problems arise, I will provide an update.

The Original 501
These are the original 501 blue jeans from back in the day, with a thick, traditional denim feel, not the stretchy recycled material. I forgot how heavy these are. They are definitely more durable than the "stretchy" Levis, but I won't be wearing them much in the summer. The material is a bit stiff at first but gets softer with each washing. I'm glad I could find a pair of these to add back to my wardrobe.

Size down!
I am very confused by the reviews saying to size up in these jeans. I have always been a 28 in Levis (5'9 140lbs), but I have to size down in 501s. I have another pair of 100% cotton 501s that I sized down to a 27 in, and they are slightly snug, but look better than the 28s. I assumed that was a fluke for that specific color so I got my usual 28s in this pair. They were way too big. I sized down to a 27 and they are still very baggy, specifically in the crotch area. It looks like I will have to size down to a 26 in these. Very frustrating. This color is also not 100% cotton and has a significant amount of stretch. I would love to see this color in a heavier, 100% cotton!

Sizing Photos and Info for Everyone
Ok... I wound up ordering 3 pairs AND I already owned 2 pairs. I took photos to help everyone with sizing while I had them all together. I returned 2 pairs. These seem to run big to be honest. I'm 5'4" and 110 lbs. I'm up 5 lbs because it was SO COLD this winter. Typically, at 105 I'm a solid size 25. Depends on the brand and cut, etc.I read reviews and sized up one from my normal 25 and ordered a 26. Too baggy in the seat and crotch, as is normal with 501s. They are always lose in those areas. Then I ordered a 25 and then a 24. They are still a little lose but much better. There is no smaller size available right now, so they're the keepers. This means... I am 5 lbs OVER my size 25 weight and still had to size DOWN to a 24.The pics show sizes 24 through 28. 3 new from amazon and two I already had. There is barely an inch and a half between all sizes... total. Each pair BARELY gets about a half inch bigger with each size. You can see in the pics.I also have pics of each size being worn. I will upload those later. On other phone.

The only jeans I'll wear anymore
Do you know how hard it is to find jeans that fit properly, look good, and aren't made of spandex and polyester? It's hard, but these ones tick all the boxes. I absolutely LOVE these jeans. The only thing I'd be super careful with is making sure to wash them in cold water and air dry them rather then put them in the dryer. I did not listen to my mother and they shrank a bit. Still my favorite jeans though!

Just okay
The length is good, fit was pretty good, doesn’t have a lot of shrinkage, good thickness on the material. Color was just okay for me and the fabric I did not like. The fabric wrinkles pretty bad and I just didn’t like the feel of the fabric. They were not a pretty color of gray in my opinion. I would not order again but they are okay for running errands or doing yardwork.

Very baggy and masculine
I am 5’6, 125 pounds and ordered a size 28. These fit in the waist but looked very masculine on me. Way too baggy in the thighs and butt. However, the material was nice. Be aware there is no zipper, just buttons

Just like my 90's 501's
I was nervous ordering these online since they aren't stretch jeans, but I wanted real denim, not stretchy denim. I am 5'3, 190# and ordered the 35 which is a 16. The length is just how I like jeans, the ends bend on top of my foot without being too long. They are not the most flattering on me, but that is because of my weight. I maybe could have gone down a size, especially after they relax, but the next size down is a 32 which would be too small. I am looking forward to the edges fraying and the natural fading on the knees and butt with wear, that's why i wanted real denim, which doesnt happen with jeans with stretch. Reminds me of the Levi's I used to wear in High School in the 90's.
