Not 100% sure how I feel about these tbh Pros: - that adhesive could hold a jet engine on an airplane - cuts to size nicely, very thick but pliable - comes with prep pad - texture of the edge is incredibly supple, it's not going to be hard on your floors unless you apply it too close to the ground Cons: - comes rolled so tightly that it peels away from the door when you apply it sometimes - doesn't work on older homes with uneven, old wooden doors (iykyk), doesn't want to make and keep contact with the surface. Loses it's "stick" almost instantly if there is debris of any sort on the door (which if you have an old house, you know this is just, chronic). This is an extra shame bc the house where you are most likely to need this kind of heavy duty weather stripping are the olllldddd houses - the prep wipe smells like paint thinner and peeled my door paint almost instantly. Perhaps if you have a factory finished door that hasn't been repainted, you'll be fine, but the house I'm renting probably has more coats of paint than I have years left to live (I'm 30) So there you have it. If you have a 100 year old house that you are trying to keep glued together, maybe go with a door sweep that nails down.
