Posted 2 pictures, one being the two new LED's (white) and the other being an older Halogen work light (yellow), in a totally dark room. Build quality of new lights seem satisfactory for light duty home/garage use, for a reasonable price. Has an adjustable tri-pod with quick connect for the light bar. Includes an extra mounting screw and an allen wrench for mounting the light bar, which then will attach & detach with a quick connect mount. I plugged in my older Halogen while the LED's were plugged in and it had no effect on the amount of light visually thrown. So much for old technology. One LED light has a 3 prong outlet on rear so it is convenient to plug tools, lights, job radio, battery charger or other items in, without needing an additional extension cord run. So far, totally pleased with this purchase.

Lights work great but I had to repair base/stand. Lights pull 40 watts each and 120 watts with all on! Over all a pretty good deal.

My husband works in construction and we also have a ton of projects going with our house so these lights are essential for him. I got him this one as a gift to motivate him to do the work on our house faster and so far he really likes it. The light is sturdy and well made and seems to be good quality. He had no trouble putting it together even though the instructions got torn up when he was opening the box. This light is very versatile and very bright and so far seems to be working flawlessly. It adjusts many different ways and is perfect for his needs. He usually prefers only Milwaukee branded tools, but he is perfectly content with this light so that’s saying something. Overall, I think this was a great purchase and we are definitely very happy with this product.

2-LIGHT Model:Giving this 5 STARS (okay 4.51 rounding up) for GOOD design, materials, and operation -- although there are a few inaccuracies in the description*. The lights are VERY bright white light, and it is good that they have simple on-off switches (variable switch is simply not needed - I want LIGHT!) on each light fixture - great for welding and carpentry outdoors after sundown. Fasteners and components are good, but I would advise buyers to get a few 1-inch OD fiber or durable rubber washers to help hold positions on the lights without the need to overtighten. The socket head fasteners (tool included) and threaded inserts are very good quality. It is GREAT to have the 120V outlet on one of the two lights.*NOTES - The overall height including handle with legs in proper (widest) position is about 68-1/2, not 71 inches, and the 10 foot cord length includes adding both indivitual branches of the "Y" shape. In fairness, it is very good material (apparently 14 gauge). Will update if anything goes wonky after a month or two.

I chose the two light, 20,000 lumen lamp that is detachable from the stand. This was a more expensive option. The image of the product on the company Amazon webpage, shows the locking mechanism that attaches the 2 lights to the stand being made of metal with a metal locking clasp. What I received was not metal but a cheap plastic locking mechanism with 2 plastic tabs and a plastic receiver mount that the 2 lights “lock” into. You have to fuss with the detachable lights to release and lock them with these plastic tabs. It’s not only obvious that these plastic locking tabs are easily breakable; but also they don’t provide a secure fit between the lights and the stand. This makes for concern that when your working and moving the unit , the light might easily detach and fall and break. I spent the extra money on purpose, because of the metal locking clamp that is shown in all the pictures on the Amazon webpage. This company either needs to change the pictures on their website, or send the product as advertised. This feels deceptive and as a consumer I’m very disappointed.

In my basement for a plumbing repair I realized the overhead incandescent (I know I know - it just won't burn out) doesn't light things up enough. I got this because it's LED & I like the extension outlet on the light. Also, I'm tired of buying halogen bulbs.This is better than my 500w halogen light. It lights up a bigger area, and fills it in better. It's a whiter light, halogen is more yellow.I haven't used the gloves or goggles yet, but that isn't why I bought this.There aren't really any instructions to put it together, but it has a sheet with pictures and it's pretty self explanatory. I added a zip tie to pull the cord up to the light support in the middle by the handle, so it's not hanging. That made it easier to keep it adjusted where I wanted it. It took about five minutes to put it together.Overall, I love this light, it's great! Yes, its more expensive up front than the halogen work lights, but less expensive because you're not buying bulbs every time you don't let it cool enough before moving it. It's just a lot more light, less heat to work in, and has a convenient outlet & usb charger on the light. Would buy again.

The light is damn strong and the lamps don't get too hot. The construction is average, everything wobbles a bit, it's obvious that these are quick and not very sophisticated solutions. But the lamp does the job, it illuminates the jobsite well. For the money...
