Works great
This freezer tape is great. It sticks to all my containers, mostly zip bags and various sizes of the Reditainer plastic tubs. I've not had any problems with the tape coming off when I don't want it to, but it's very easy to peel off once you need to wash a container. The tape core is a non-standard size, and the roll is larger than regular desk tape. I looked high and low for any sort of insert that would fit this roll, but in the end I decided to try out the Tartan Tabletop Tape Dispenser which comes with a 1" and 3" core insert. The freezer tape fits on the 1" core (there's extra room, but the core holder stays in just fine), and the roll fits down in the cavity. It works great, and it's very convenient for prepping bulk batches of food or quickly packing away leftovers.

Works perfectly if you put the tape on in the first place
I don't try to label things that were already in the freezer or refrigerator - I label only when food containers are dry, before the leftovers have been put in the fridge/freezer. (I use Gladware containers, if you're wondering.) I'm a procrastinator, so I cannot put off the labeling until later or I'll never ever do it.Using it as I use it, before the containers go into the fridge/freezer, this freezer tape will STICK and it's never come loose on me. I've even forgotten about the tape being on the Gladware lids and put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and after being washed with all that hot water and detergent, the label will still be stuck fast on the lid. However, when I deliberately pull the tape off, it comes off cleanly without leaving sticky residue behind. This freezer tape works as it should, and I'm happy as a clam.My grandparents and parents used this sort of freezer tape when I was a kid but I never knew what it was called... now I know, and I'm happy I have it in my kitchen drawer. I use ultra-fine tip Sharpies to write on the tape, works great, and the Sharpie ink stays on through the dishwasher too. =)

Perfect labeling tape for the kitchen
High quality tape for the kitchen. For the professional kitchen the roll size is on the small side, for the home the size is an advantage and it is perfect.Sticks well and it is also easily removable when necessary in any condition (room temperature, cooler or freezer).

Works Well for Freezer or Refrigerator
Family that cooks independently and meal preps so we end up with numerous food containers in the refrigerator and freezer so it is nice to have them all labeled. Everyone is using them to label with contents and dates. Nice to have, before reading about this product on line I was unaware it even existed.

Great freezer tape
I reordered this because it stays attached when put into the refrigerator or freezer.

Great tape for labeling all kinds of containers, frozen or not.
I used a lot of containers to organize things, especially when it comes to food. All the dry food, wet food, fresh, frozen, leftovers, all in containers. For years, I use regular Avery white address labels for containers simply because I always have them on hand. But the regular Avery address labels are really difficult to come off, especially after they get wet either after washing, or after defrosting. Other times the regular address labels refuse to stick to containers after they're frozen. I saw the Scotch Freezer Tape on Amazon and decided to try it.The scotch freezer tape is great for containers, in the refrigerator, freezer, or any container really. They stick well to glass, plastic, metal, plastic bags, and even foil to a certain degree. They do not come off after frozen. Yet they're easy to peel off. I use regular Sharpie marker on the tape, and the writing does not transfer, does not smelt. The tape and writing pretty stay until I peel them off. There is 1000 inch of tape in the roll. Because it's not precut, I can cut off a small section for small labels, or a very long one for a large box with details notes. However, the tape is not as neat as precut address labels. It's also beige (like masking take), not white. Sp the neat stack of containers are not as neat after using this label. But I'd rather have rough cut edges than label residue.

Sticks well and removes well, for the most part
I use this to label plastic lock-n-locks for the freezer. The tape always adheres well and writes on easily with a permanent marker, which never bleeds though. Generally the tape peels right off when you take it out of the freezer, but I must say that occasionally it does stick and is a bear to peel off. Haven’t figure out the trigger for that, as it does come off well most of the time.
