Good fly killer enjoy the shaping noise very satisfying and sizzling

Not as good as the cheap one I used to own and it needs servicing every year. You are not supposed to change the lamps yourself.

Very effective only wish we had got it sooner. Hanging in top corner of a bed room which had a fruit fly problem, which it does not any more. You can turn it off as soon as there's no more flies. I recommend not to have it hanging in a direction you will be facing as with any UV lights. I did see the other reviews mention flies were seen crawling on the bulbs and yes they can as the bulb is not meant to electrocute them, that is simply a UV bulb, it's not electrocuted it's there for the purpose of attracting flies. It is the inside of the metal grid that does the job when they go to fly back out. Only thing I could nitpick is that occasionally flies do get stuck on the grid when electrocuted, which can be quite alarming and create a slight smell of burning. So more of an advice point than a product flaw, as I think that happens to all electric fly killers and is not really something that can be fixed by being engineered or designed. When this happens I tend to turn the unit off and wait a minute then use something long and thin to clear it off to drop down to the tray.

Order this to replace one i had for a few years but Unfortunately changed the design the lead is not detachable to be able to put were i had my old one, but if is is not a problem would definitely recommend

one light tube does not work, tried swapping for the one that worked, no luck. contact amazon to return item. hopeless post would not collect without a label. amazon printed a advise that post office supply return label for me. I am now stuck with a useless wall hanger. don't seem to able contact seller. I have wasted £48.00 will not purchase again unless I get sense from Amazon or seller NOT HAPPY in Surrey

I have been plagued by flies and this machine is fabulous. I have one in the kitchen and one in the lounge. Flies are such a nuisance and dive bomb you, so I’m zapping them bit by bit!

Slim line which I I luckily needed due to short space. Bit pricey though due to country in recession. The tubes are Phillips make, let's c how long they will work? I recommend it.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Knocked one star off because of a flickering bottom tube, which is a little annoying but the zapper has claimed it’s first victim Kills flies: Will kill any bug or flying insect on contact with mesh grid Noise level: Quiet unless zapping obviously

Attracts flies with lamps ok.Electrical grid fails to kill the smallest fly.Used previous models which work well.Not buying anymore.
