Is this lock weatherproof as to rain

No it is not , i have this lock and if it gets wet it glitches badly . I have to put a piece of plastic over the lock to keep it from getting wet . Hope that helps you

I assume you mean from outside entry. If so then yes there are two ways. Normally it will automatically lock after a couple of seconds, unless it is in “passage“ mode. There is a switch on the inside just above the handle for private or general mode. In private mode it will be locked and only an administrator can open it from the outside. There is no way to lock it such the people on the inside cannot get out.
