J&S Jacks Motorcycle Lift - 2000 lb. Capacity

Kudos:In spite of a few minor issues with my experience ordering and setting up the lift, I'm giving this 5 stars because it really is a very well-built lift and is very easy to use. It is rigid and maneuverable and works very well moving bikes around in the garage. I was skeptical of seeing the guys crawling around on the bike when it's up on the lift, but you really could do that if you are so inclined. When it's on the lift, the bike isn't going anywhere!Criticisms:1. Don't be in a hurry to get this lift. I believe they are made to order, and it takes every bit as long as they say to deliver. Mine actually took about a week longer because of problems the company had printing shipping labels at the time (October 2018)2. The lift did not come with assembly instructions - I had to find them on-line. And as of October 2018, the assembly instructions on-line did not match the latest configuration that was shipped. I was able to figure out how things go together, but this is something basic that should have been addressed when they upgraded the configuration.3. The description says that the lift saves floor space. Perhaps I took that statement a bit too literally, because when the bike is on the lift, it actually takes up more floor space than when the bike is on its side stand. Keep that in mind if you're objective is to literally save floor space. That was my objective, but I found that I was able to use the lift to get the bike into places that I couldn't have without the lift (e.g., right up against a wall)...so everything worked out.

Not a review, but their web page says they are permanently closed. If you read reviews from people who have ordered directly from them, you will find examples of credit cards being charged but customers never received their product or their order has not arrived after many months and still waiting. Just a heads up....I purchased a J&S Jack directly from the company many years ago and was very happy with the product and service, but apparently all that has changed and they closed shop. Buyer beware.

I'm assuming the quality is good, I wouldn't know because I gave them $500 3 months ago and still don't have my jack...

Simple and functional. Does exactly what I bought it for.

I have had a JS Lift for over 5 yrs and it is a great lift but the Chinese made bottle jack failed and I ordered a replacement on 4/29/22 and my credit card was charged the same day. As of 6/28/22, I have not received the product NOR gotten ANY responses to my several voicemails and e-mails. Obviously, they have discovered it is more profitable to simply take their customers money and not shipping product or responding. This American company has proven themselves to be fraudulent in my opinion.

I hear J&S are great lifts. I gave them $908 on 8/3/22 and have still not received it as of 1/15/23. Thank God Capital One just gave me my $908 back and they will sue them. J&S does not return phone calls or answer emails. They are an embarrassment to "made in the USA".

This jack is exactly as described. Truly heavy duty. Worked for my 57 FL, 66 FLH, 77 and 80 Wide Glides. Sturdy, no bending or flexing. Good hydraulic controls. Perfect for a serious Bike Shop.
