The product does what it claims to do BUT and this is a big BUT, be ready to spend a good chunk of frustrating hours if you're DIY installing this damn thing because A) Instructions are worse than Chinese written manuals B) Product is poorly designed and could have been a much simpler construction. Ultimately it's a metal box that needs to go through your floor. However, it's got freaking notches and screws sticking out which prevent a smooth descent. The template provided won't work throw it away. Then there are these stupid little foam shims that need to go in certain order. Somewhere there is also a metal plate that will go directly above the 20A outlet. Oh, and all these layers including the top plate, have to go together downwards so you can screw the whole damn thing. And ultimately when you are almost done, and getting ready to call it a victory, the screws will break on you and now you can't push this damn thing further down and stuck with not a good contact seal. Also, this does not include RJ45s which might have been an oversight on my part

Does what it says it will do, but you will need to buy your own RJ-45 female plug. The kit only comes with the plastic plate into which RJ-45 plugs can snap. Also, the holes were not the same size as the RF-45 plugs I had, so the electrician just used an entirely different setup for the low-voltage side of the kit.

Looks good installed on my wood floor. I was hoping the it would mount a little more flush to the surface and the outlets/data jacks would be a little more recessed.

I'm disappointed with the fit of the reciprocals in this box and having to use foam shims to take up the slack between the outlets and the cover. The cover looks nice but had I known in advance that the perfect circle covers would mean that outlets don't fit snugly to the face I would not have bought this one.Also one of the 4 brass screws I received was broken, missing the screwhead. I didn't notice until after I installed the box and the only option on Amazon is to return the whole thing...something I'm not willing to undo for one screw.

Overall product is higher quality. The way the cover plate attaches makes the unit difficult to install. I will probably buy a different cover plate to complete the install.
