Great pen, solid build.. Absolutely worth the price..

4 Stars but still love my Karas.
I own multiple Karas pens and I love them all despite the 4 stars for this particular model. The reason for the four stars is that the pen has a bad grip being that it's aluminum, slippery at times. Karas could have designed the pen with a knurl finish (like at the top of the pen) at the point where the fingers grip the instrument. I didn't purchase mine here on Amazon, I got it straight from the manufacture. I highly recommend using Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 ink refills with ALL of Karas pen bodies. The pen also comes supplied with the necessary hardware for different ink refills with detailed instruction for installation. Other than that, this is one (of eight Karas) of the most marvelous pens I ever owned.
