Works with the Cotre C0004D DMRcable works flawlessly
Cable works with Cotre C0004D.. Just wish the radio was easier to work with.

Good radios.
Assembly: Very minimal assembly. Basically, insert the battery and place radio in the charger.Design: The radio’s PTT is on the front of the radio. An LED light flashes red when transmitting and green when receiving at the base of the antenna. It also intermittently blinks green to indicate that the radio is on.The channel indicator is a voice feature that tells you what channel your on and the level of power being used.To the left side of the radio is the channel, volume, and power switch. On the right side is the accessory and charging ports.Ease of Use: The radios LED light will turn off when the radio is fully charged as it sits on the cradle. As soon as you turn on the radio it will tell you the channel and power level. The radio is small enough that pressing the PTT isn’t really a problem especially when using one hand. There is a slight learning curve in figuring out how to change the channel and power settings but once you get that down it is easy to use.During a convoy, we noticed the transmission wasn’t as clear as we would like. It was low volume with some static from about 4 car lengths behind. It could be other variables affecting the transmission, but it has occurred during the last 2 times we used the radios.I couldn’t download the programming software for the radios therefore wasn’t able to set up sub frequencies.I do like the size and the transmission/on lights at the base of the antenna. It leaves me no question whether or not the radio is on and working. Conclusion: I like the radio for its size and its features. Clarity in transmission is questionable at times but for the size and type (FRS), it is adequate. I recommend this radio.

Decent walkie talkies
These do go fairly far in an open area, though the more interference you have (houses, tress, etc.) the smaller the range. The sound quality is nothing great, but everything is clear enough to understand. I was easily able to use them when walking through my neighborhood. Assembling the radios is fairly simple, you just have to insert the battery, and then set it on the stands to charge. Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on what you want), these radio bases are all individual. If you plan to separate them, this is handy because you can just take a single base. However for me, it was really inconvenient to have four bases and individual cables all in the same place. Using these radios is quite simple and intuitive, so there’s nothing wrong there. However, they do feel light and a bit cheap, so I’d be careful not to rough them up or drop them too much.

Great for using while camping
We've been camping since our kids were little and anytime they wanted to go to the kids play area or go for a bike ride, we had to go with, obviously. Now that they are older, 12 and 9, we wanted to give them a little bit more freedom. My 12 yo has a cell phone but our 9 yo doesn't, so we ordered this 4 pack so that we all could have one and take it whenever we would leave the campsite, even us adults. That's because alot of times where we'd camp wouldn't have very good if any cell service, so these worked really nice. They are easy to use and the batteries seem to last for a good amount of time. As far as the range of them, it's hard to put a distance on it, even tho we tested out how far apart we could get and still hear each other, it depended on different circumstances. We did find out that when in the camper, the range is cut down by a huge amount, so we intend to buy an antenna to put on our camper to be able to hopefully increase the distance. Overall, we were really impressed and happy with these radios.

Clear Communication, better for short range
These only go up to 3/4 of mile in wooded areas but mainly I got them for when I go camping with my son or when I don't feel like walking to his room to ask him a question. It's perfect for around the home/small property but not long distances. The build quality feels kind of lower end but 4 devices for the price is a great deal. Definitely would recommend if in the market for budget walkie talkies and don't have a huge property to traverse!

Easy to gift as two gifts
I ordered these and they communicate very well, with zero issues. I gave two of them to my grandson who is 3 and he loved them both. I saw him on Christmas morning and was like " Mom, I got two walkie talkies". It was priceless! The other two I have currently with us, and plan to use them for hunting or just nature walking. They seem to be very good material with little background noise. They are small and petite and perfect size for anyone.

Not really heavy duty
These walkie talkies do everything they need to do, and it is a bonus that they have headsets. I was a little disappointed that the plastic casing was so cheap. I expected it to maybe be a little more of a rubberized plastic. The listing says they are commercial but I doubt they'd hold up well in any blue collar environment.

These are very good quality as far as the sound
The media could not be loaded. My only issue was that the earpiece of one of these broke quickly upon assembling it for the first time I am referring to the clear piece. Other than that these are really nice they actually work on multiple channels and add a longer distance and any other walkie-talkie I have owned. These are not toys they are real radios and can be picked up on channels from other people using similar radios we did have some interference with Another company but you can easily switch channels
