This portable cd player stands more or less upright, but witrh a slight slant towards the rear, Its built in speakers produce a reasonable quality off sound for the price. A little too plasticky for my likeing, andd doesnt have the feel of long term durability. Still, mine has not stopped working yet, so fingers crossed. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am thrilled with this CD player as it is a good size, easy to work and the sound quality is great! I am using to listen to audio books at night to help me rest and sleep. I have given Genesis a blast on it and it was brilliant with good base, so not a tinny sound. It arrived in super quick time. Excellent value for money.

My old stack system CD player of 30 years stopped working last week, so I purchased this as a replacement and have no regrets. The Bluetooth transmission is particularly useful because I can sit at my coffee table and stream CD tracks to the receiver in my HiFi. It works very well and is a great improvement on my old unit, which meant I had to get up and go over to the unit to change CDs. The new unit looks very basic, but is practical and effective. I don't intend to use the built-in speakers, but they sound fair for the small size of the unit. There is no built-in battery, but the unit does work via power back with a Type C connection. I don't use the on board FM radio either, but at least it's there if I ever need it. The price of the unit was fair too, given versatility of the unit as well as its remote control. A very worthwhile purchase.

Great CD player. Great clear sound. But it wouldn't play my brand new CD cleaning disc. My other CD player played my cleaning disc no problem.

Nice cd player. I have so many cds in storage thought it was time I started playing them again. Needed something that I could Bluetooth to speakers. This does the job. As a standalone player I’d say the sound is terrible , but as a Bluetooth player it’s good. My only complaint is the door opening. For some odd reason it opens underneath upwards and is diddly to get cds into. Would be better if the top opened and not the bottom then you could drop on CDs easier. As is you have to pick the player up to do that.
