Hunters Specialties Butt Stock Cartridge Holder

This is a great buy! Slips on easy enough, holds 12 gauge shells with a perfect balance between tight enough that the shell will never fall out, and not too tight that you can't quickly remove a shell when you need to. Would recommend this for the casual shooter, hunter, or for a home defense gun. If you are doing intense run and gun courses or plan on taking this to war, you may want to step up to a higher quality item, but the price alone should have already told you that. I currently have one on my home defense shotgun, an IAC Hawk 982t (870 clone with pistol grip butt-stock) and the fit is great. It slides up a tad if I basically try and make it slide up, but in normal use it stays put. Was going to just transfer it between my HD gun and my actual 870 hunting shotgun when needed, but for the price I will be ordering a 2nd so they are both equipped at all times. Buy it now.

Seems to be well made, but it is very difficult to put 12 ga. shells into the holder. It is also difficult to install on the gun stock, even when installing from the muzzle end.

For a cheap item, it worked flawless. It is the best to be expected for the price.

these are easy to install on shotgun stock, slip over end of barrel and slide down until snug on the shotgun's butt, but be advised, the loops are extremely tight and i had to work vigorously to put 12 ga shells in the holder on my automatic and just as hard to put 20 ga shells in my side-by-side no way these will fall out, they are in snug which is what you want but i will rate this elastic used on these loops as to be too tight for this application, i will use as i have on my shotguns now

I've purchased several of these for various rifles and they never disappoint. They fit snugly to most stocks. I have even painted some of them camouflage to match the gun and they hold up great. For shotguns, I like the flexibility of carrying multiple loads (game, slug, turkey) in one spot. It is easy to add or remove shells. For the price, they can't be beat.

Bought two of these. Excellent quality, fits super tight and snug. Cartridges and slugs fit well, no chance of them falling out. For the price buy 2, just in case you lose one or get another gun and you don't want the other gun jealous that you left it without a cartridge holder. Looks cool too and easy access for hunting or at the range. Its also alot nicer to rest your cheek on than the wood stock.

As people have already said - this is as tight as my mate Daz. Ideal for holding our spare co2 cartridges on the but of our carbine Air rifle.

These normally retail for $10+ and have been worth it when I have purchased them from hunting stores so $5 is a great deal on Amazon. They should be considered somewhat disposable. Use them for a year during heavy use or longer if only occasionally removed. I have punched a small hole in all of mine to allow for a swivel stud to poke out, this also helps to keep it from sliding around when climbing obstacles or punching through thick bush. Great way to keep a slug or steel on your gun if you have a variety of quarry requiring different loads.

I bought it to hold CO2 Capsules to stop them rolling around in the bottom of my gun bags, works great and really good quality for the cost.
