BoschHS1903 SDS-max Rtec Flat Chisel 1 In. x 16 In, Gray

Excellent chipper flat blade. Works as expected with any Bosch SDS Plus or Max attachment or roto-hammer. I have no complaints and would purchase this bit again. Unlike root drill bits, I do not feel that buying a Bosch vs a Milwaukee or DeWalt is of any concern. I find that all of these are good bits and wouldn't hesitate to purchase any of them. However, for the purposes of this review I feel that this is an excellent flat blade chipper and will purchase it again providing the price is reasonable at time of my next purchase.

Tried to remove a concrete basketball pole base (over a foot thick, I'm pretty sure) made of tough concrete and gravel boulders. Got about a 1/4 to 1/3 of the concrete and gravel chipped away (in several hours), enough to allow me to cut off the steel post below ground level. Work was slow going and the chisel was very rounded by the end. Probably used the wrong tool here which is why it gets a '3'. The job I did most likely required a jackhammer.

Bought 3 chisels with a rotary hammer. Jack hammered out a lot of floor over the past couple weeks and a variety of chisels came in great. Quality is nicer than what it looks in the picture in my opinion. This one was my favorite out of the 3. It made nice breaks and did probably the most damage out of all of them.

I bought the SDS Max chisel for demolition work with my rotary hammer drill. The chisel worked well after first dilling holes in the cement to prevent binding. The chisel performed well.J.D.

The tip at the side of the chisel broke off on the first day of use. Did not expect this from Bosch at all. I suppose it was a bad one.

After chiseling some concrete work tip of chisel blunted....that chisel is fair but not great....so buyer beware about that....price is little high also

i used once so far and no problems with it, i received the mail in two days. it is a genuine bosch product, it was like 40% off compared to local shops in toronto
