Much much better than the original plastic ones. Apparently Jeep decided to use the strongest little spring of planet earth to fit into the visor mounting bracket, and unless you thumb wrestle radioactive poler bears for a living you probably cant do it by hand. Very sturdy item since it is aluminum and not plastic. Unfortunately, maybe it’s just my Jeep, I had to drill the holes bigger to be able to attach it to the visor.

Part was plastic with no hardware, not the same part as pictured, returned.

Product is good but like others have said you might want to run a drill through from the bottom because the original post tapers up. Also the push nuts that come with it are crap. They give you 4 hoping one of them will be successful. I tried all 8 (I bought two brackets) on one bracket. None were successful. Bought better push nuts from hardware store it works great now.

As others have mentioned, the hole isn't the right configuration and needed boring out to fit the visor rod. AND, the push nuts are Crap. Used all four and the fourth one is barely hanging on. Getting new push nuts for it today.

easy fix for your broken/cracked OEM plastic ones. Kind of a pain to get the spring cap on though.
