Platypod Multi Accessory Kit for Max, Ultra, or Pro tripods

I can tell when a product is good kit. If I, at some point in time, decided to add that item to a bag I am taking on a shoot. Platypod and it's attendant accessories go into a bag of "support/grip" hardware. Platypod is not an "instead-of" camera support. It is an additional camera support, always in a bag nearby.So, based on that criteria, all the platypod family of product I have: Platypod Multi Accessory Kit for Max, and Max platypod, -- are well made solid design, tough-as-nails products. that are in a bag that always rides with me. - So, must be good kit.

I love this to add versatility to my photography. I took it out in the yard with my platypods & everything feels sturdy & allows you to attach your camera in lots of places from low to the ground to on a tree. It came missing a piece but even on a weekend the seller immediately got back to me & rectified the problem. Great product & amazing seller.I will buy from again.

I have a Nikon D800 which is a heavy body to begin with but with a Sigma 500 mm lens it's even heavier. The Platypod holds both with ease. I will by the small version too for my GoPros

Not sure how they can sell such a high quality product for so little money, this has all of the adjustments, looks great, and works great.

I bought this bundle for the adapter from the bigger size of screw to the smaller size on my favorite tripod head. However, I think it’s a good complement to the original Platypod, the non-slip mat is useful too

The Platypod is a really creative piece of gear that has found a full-time place in my bag. It has a learning curve associated with it but you get the hang of all the unique ways it can be used, and buy the Multi Accessory Kit. I would give it 5 stars except the price seems a little high. However don't be stopped by the price because it really adds to the productive use of your Platypod. Platypod Pro has come up with a really creative product that is adding to my photography workflow.

Haven't used it often enough to give a definitive judgement but am looking forward to putting it to the test with more time outdoors doing some macro photography..e.g.taking creative shots of trees , wild flowers. I know it will live up to my expectations. Sturdy and cleverly assembled.. Well worth the money.
