You get what you pay for. Definitely a nice knife, but the sharpness does not impress me. Sounds negative, yes, but the price doesn't allow for a paper cutting, tomato slicing without holding it knife. I like the knife, I'm not returning it, it is the better knife in my kitchen collection, I'm just not impressed. I haven't tried cutting meat yet, I rarely eat red meat, but I expect that it'll do just fine. Again, it is a nice knife with a good edge, I was hoping for a $200 knife at the price this knife is offered, silly me. I give the knife props, it hasn't cut me yet! Be careful with it, I recommend it to those that don't have really good knives in their kitchen. This will redecorate your finger tips if you can't handle a really sharp knife

I cannot believe got this knife for only $18 something! This thing arrives razor sharp. Sharp enough to cut thin paper or the hair off your arm! No sharpening needed out of the box. It is very well packaged and comes with a nice sheath/scabbard for easy storage or transport. The wood handle feels really nice in hand and the blade looks and feels of a high quality. I’m extremely happy with this knife as I bought it for my camp kitchen for occasional use while camping but honestly it’s good enough for everyday use in your home!

I got this for my dad for Father’s Day, but now I kinda want one lol. Seems sharp AF and I’m a little jealous. This is a good trusted mid range brand chef knife and I’m sure it will last him a while.

Absolutely love it, I'd give it a 4.7/5 the handle is really comfortable, it's a good size for strawberries and alike, it can handle tamohawk steaks well, but a 6incher would be better, especially if it's a thicker tamohawk steak, it's fenominal with onions once you get use to it, and it's even better with shallots than my standard 6incher, for more intricate or delicate/light work (dicing/mincing/chopping) in the kitchen it excells, i did notice with larger things like cucumbers I couldn't cover the whole length in one go, but it's maneuverability gets past that easily, great knife great feel, great price, love it!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I received this knife and immediately sliced my finger when cleaning it. It is definitely sharp, so be careful! But as long as you keep digits out of the way it is a durable, high quality knife that will have you chopping like a pro.

Thus, I decided to buy the third for a different purpose, and I'm not mistaken. The knife is extremely sharp, well-balanced and beautifully looking. It cuts meat with ease, including your fingers, so be extremely careful. The packaging is luxurious and good-looking, including a short manual on how to maintain and sharpen it. The knife is of good quality and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
