Rhythm Band Handbells (RB118)

I have been teaching handbells to children for over 10 years and it was time to get some new bells. Usually get them through another music site but the shipping is always expensive so I decided to buy them through Amazon. They are the same Kids Play handbells I usually buy, but for a better price! I received my bells a few days ago but the low C and high C were really out of tune. Returning them for a new set was really easy and I received my replacement bells today. Every bell was in tune, except for the B which is only slightly off. Not enough to make a difference and the chords still sound okay. Impressed with the price and how quickly I received the replacement set. Would recommend.

I haven't had these too long but I finally had enough people over to really try these out. We had grandparents, parents, and teenagers and everybody was having a good time. I'm sure when the younger grandkids have a chance to try them they will love them too. Search youtube for some fun songs to follow along. Boomwhackers play along--musication and Boomy Tunes are a couple to try. They have a nice sound and are easy to use.

I purchases these for a group of teenagers to use in a little church talent show. The sound quality/tone was better than I anticipated and I was quite pleased. The teenagers were interested in the project and it seemed ro pull them together as a group to work on this and get things figured out. For the prive this is a fun, interesting, and worthwhile little investment.The clapper is suspended on a little spring that is just stiff enough to keep it from flopping about and striking the bell at the slightest movement. The colors are helpful but quite loud to look at.

I got these after trying a different brand of 13 handbells. The other brand was really out of tune (tried 2 sets). These came and are perfectly in tune. I tested them against a piano and a chromatic tuner. I also really love that each bell in the 13 bell set is an entirely different color - except for the low and high C. They seem to be either very close or exactly the same. Since I'll be using color bell charts for my kid's choir, I'll probably put a piece of white tape around the middle of the high C bell (and do a red circle with a white line in the middle in the color bell chart) so we can differentiate that bell. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

We got these to have some nice ol' musical fun with our family and some friends. They've been perfect for our needs. Our family is not exactly easy on fragile things, but these have held up really well for almost a year now. It's really hard to find good sheet music to go with these...either too expensive or not easy enough for our level. And, practically all of it is not color coded, but we've gone and made our own color-coded sheet music. With that, kids aged 10 down to 4 have been able to participate! A couple of the identification stickers on the top have come loose. So, either we glue them back on or just write it there with a permanant marker. No biggy. The only complaint I have is that they don't come with a nice case. Otherwise, as said by Tony the Tiger, "Theeeeey're great!" We got the 13 bell set and the extra 7. No regrets.

WE ordered these for the younger kids at church and we already played a couple of songs for Christmas. The sounds are clear and strong and in tune. The bells are sturdy, but the kids need to be careful not too use them roughly ( I think one of the bells got a bit of the paint chipped of the side).The bells were not expensive, but with shipping (which doubled the price), came to $127 CAD.Good quality handbells! I'd recommend for basic kids or adults playing.

Great value. Perfectly tuned. Bright clean colors. They worked wonderfully for my Christmas program. They are NOT toy quality. They are instrument quality. They ring beautifully.I guess you COULD use them as a toy... but they are capable of much more than that. I personally, am not giving my kids free reign of them. I want to KEEP them nice :) Very happy with the purchase.

Pretty consistent pitch. Nice sound. Great for classroom use. I use these in place of Boomwhackers and the kids love them!
