Setup was straight forward. Nice mounting options. Range is good..................But there's a couple of major problems with this system.You're supposed to align till you have a signal strength over 300. Mine would have a signal strength over 400 at night, but the signal was washed out during the day by the sun. Never went over 140 in the daytime.Also, the beam sometimes needed to be blocked for several seconds to get an alarm. It failed to detect my wife's station wagon on many attempts.Seller included a nice letter on how they are prepared to provide exceptional customer service and technical support. But they never answered the phone or returned my calls.Back it went, thanks to the exceptional customer support at Amazon.

As others have stated, unreliable system and no help from seller. We called number, no answer or return calls. We sent emails, no responses. The system works with no consistency. When the driveway alarm works, the alarm system receiver has to be within 30 feet of the transmitter receiver. So we have it sitting inside the garage, unable to put it inside the house. Sometimes vehicles make it go off and sometimes they don’t. There is no troubleshooting to use and as we stated, no support to contact. We bought it as a gift for our elderly parents and waited to long to install it, so now there’s no returning it. Large waste of money. What a shame. It might be something that could be fixed if the seller would just contact us.

Got this alarm for my driveway. The unit looks a lot bigger than pictured. The receiver is pretty intuitive to use. I installed this in my driveway outside. I now know who entered my drive way, which is handy.

Appearance durable and high-quality however poor range. I couldn't get it to operate properly more than 100 feet from the console

Came Through With A Bad Switch But They Were Helpful In Getting Us Another One But Somewhat Difficult To Get Aligned

I have a Dakota Alert BBT 2500. I think the HTZSAFE may be better but it doesn't support other devices like the Dakota Alert does. It even lookes like the BBT 2500. I think it might be even better than the Dakota Alert because you can program different zones without changing dip switches in the remote units and it has a better system to align the units. I returned the one I bought because the knob was missing on the base station and it looked like it had been opened prior to my receiving it. I probably would have kept it if it supported other devices like a driveway alarm that uses a rubber hose to detect an automobile or a magnetic alarm that detects automobiles.

Unreliable. Don't buy.The setup was pretty straight forward, but the receiver that is supposed to have a 2500 foot range (1/2 mile) is completely unreliable. I would say the alarm sounds about 10% of the time that the beam is broken. The beam sensors themselves emit a click noise anytime the beam is broken and the sensors seem to be very consistent, but the receiver doesn't get the signal. I have the receiver about 60 feet away from the sensors with clear line of sight. It's just a piece of junk.The instructions are written in broken English as well. I can forgive missing articles and prepositions, but some of the sentences in the instructions don't make sense even when you try to add in the missing words.Stay away from this product.

My driveway alarm arrived quickly and the packaging kept everything safe. It was easy to setup and now I know anytime someone pulls in my driveway. This is great for me because I now have that warning to make sure I have pants on. Or I can pretend to not be Home depending on who it is.
