Oftentimes I find myself all too aware of the incense I'm burning, be they too overpowering in the room or to artificial a smell. Immersion breaking, to say the very least. Happy too report that has not been the case with Asayu's Hinoki-scented stick incense. The fragrance is an absolute delight; delicate yet powerful. A completely natural smokey wooden scent that only adds to the mood, rather than distract.As described, and mostly depending on the burner used, I was seeing about 25-30 minutes of total burn time per stick. As you might expect, the thinner, coreless sticks produce a bit less smoke than bamboo core options. Though they may be more fragile, I have neither discovered nor experienced any breaks.

This was a waste of money!! I’ll never buy this again! I paid premium price and what a mistake!!

I've tried a lot of incense over the years, because I love the smell initially. But when I burned them, the acrid, smoky smell underneath the scent seems to linger like an uninvited guest. I wonder if it's because most incense sticks have an actual wood core, and this one is 100% incense?No such trouble with these incense sticks - The smell is gentle and woodsy. If you enjoy scents like sandalwood and cedar, you'll really love this scent.One thing to note is that each stick is very thin and quite delicate because they don't have a wood core. Handle with care!The light easily, they smell great, and they stay burning for a decent amount of time, without leaving smell residue behind. It's really kind of the best of everything incense related in one product.
