KeltyCabana Shade Tent (2020 Update)

We used this tent for the beach, and so far it is holding up very well. It is very easy to set-up and to remove when you are finished. The tent has a nice size that fits easily 3 chairs and a big tote bag.It has 3 roll-down windows that are perfect to get more sun protection or let the breeze flow.It seems good quality, but time will tell. So far happy with purchase.

Great tent/shelter. You can sleep in this thing or just have it as a sun shelter. It’s also really easy to set up.

Basically, everything the other reviewer said is spot on, so I won't repeat it here. Will just add that I'm coming from a cheap instant popup beach tent, which eventually fell apart. This Kelty tent is a size-saver when carried and half as long as the typical popup beach tent. Inside of tent is large and spacious when pitched, easily accommodating 4+ people. While not as fast and convenient to pitch this tent up when compared to the popup tent, the Kelty is still super easy to put together and take down quickly after some practice. My only complaint is the carry weight, which is due to the solid fiberglass tent pole segments. I was hoping to upgrade to a beach tent that's half the weight and carry size of my clunky popup tent, but it's not doable at the $100 price point.

Easy to set up, 3 poles, very sturdy in the wind, sandbag "stakes" are great, windows that go to the floor with roll up solid nylon panels makes you feel as if the tent is not even there with a full view of the beach behind (and in front of you with the open face) and allows changing or privacy possible (but all use ties with loops, would like a zipper but that would bring the cost up), front wall completely seals up the tent and doubles as a vestibule.Not too big, not too small, it's the perfect small family tent for the beach, I could see using it for more, because it's a real Kelty tent, even the seams are sealed, and it's not meant to be waterproof, but seems like it would be useful shelter in moderate rain, definitely strong enough against wind.The best I've seen for the beach, glad I got it.

Used this on the beach and it was great! It has metal steaks to hold it in place as well as bags that you can put sand in for extra support. The side are mesh so it is nice to still be able to see around you, but you can easily use the toggles to close them up, if needed.
