Aerosoles Women's Speartint Ankle Boot

I would like to update my review on these shoes, I have worn them now for 3 days, originally I thought these would be wonderful, however, they are so painful. supposedly it is an 11 wide, but on the right foot it barely fits, the zipper part presses on my ankle. Also, I noticed something odd, there is an indent on BOTH shoes where the big toe is, and every time you walk it literally feels like it's trying to cut your toe in half...horrible and disappointed. I can't return these since I wore them, I don't recommend them at all. I have attached a few pictures to describe the toe box issue maybe I got a bad pair

I found these boots to be an excellent buy. I was searching for boots to wear to Boston for along weekend (didn't know a blizzard was on its way at the time) and was looking to spend almost twice as much. These boots arrived and they are very nice. I like just about everything about them. The look is nice, if a bit casual. The fit is perfect. I ordered my typical size (7M) and they just about fit like a glove. I have to admit, I didn't wear them for hours at a time, but I found them comfortable for walking, even for an hour or so in the airport. They're easy to slip on and off at security (a definite plus). The tread is fine for a snowy walk. The leather is supple and pretty (I ordered the black). I like the height - a bootie but one that covers the ankle nicely. Good height for comfort and stability, but with a touch of style. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good comfortable reasonably-priced walking boot.

I have wide feet with high arches and these fit pretty well. After walking and standing in them for about four straight hours my feet got a little sore. Not too bad. Really the best thing about these boots is they have good traction for snow and ice and they seem to be somewhat waterproof. This was excellent for an interview when the city I was staying in was hit by a blizzard. While the other ladies in high heels were slipping and falling all over the place I was very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend walking in knee deep snow with them per say, but for deep puddles they kept my feet nice and dry.(Update!)I've had these for a few weeks and was wearing them quite often. Some of the brown is starting to peel off (just a small bit). It's a little disappointing but they may not be as waterproof as I thought.

I love the leather that is not shiny, and the heel size and traction of the outsole. If the boot fit, I would keep it, however,the instep at the metatarsals (ball of foot) was very, very snug. Ok for sitting, but immediately tight when standing in my usual size of 8.5M, so I ordered an 8.5W and come to find out that the padding of the insole is not sufficient for the hardness of the outsole. I like the out sole design and friction on walking, however, though the insole is padded, it does not protect the sole of the foot from a sensation of standing on concrete. Too bad for an attractive and well priced boot.

Aerosoles makes very attractive shoes, and this boot was no exception. The leather was of good quality, the fit was as expected, and the heel was low. The problem with this shoe was more of a personal preference, as the person I purchased the shoes for prefers more of a padded sole and more shaping in the front. The shoe caused a feeling of the foot almost sliding out the front toe area of the boot. It's made too much on a slant with very little sole or contouring to hold the foot in place. Otherwise, it was a nicec shoe.

Some of the reviews indicated to buy wider than normal so I did and it's almost too wide. I can adjust with socks but I do wonder if I had ordered the medium width if I would have been happier. So...not sure you should follow some of the other reviews. They seem very comfortable but I've only worn them for 2 hours at a time so far. I do love the Aerosoles comfort and these definitely are comfortable.

I like the design of this boot: it's feminine but also sporty casual. The faux leather adds to its casual flair without looking overmuch like cheap vinyl. There isn't any arch support to these shoes, so beware. In fact, I add insoles to help with the arch support and because my socked feet slip around inside due to the shoes running sliiiightly larger than the stated size. Speaking of sliding, the inside soles are made of slippery material, so your socked feet really will slip around if you have any extra space in there.

I wear a size 8 normally and the 8M of these boots were a bit narrow. However, there's enough stretch on them that they weren't too uncomfortable. Wanted non-leather boots for rain and snow days and these are good looking with great traction. Seems to be good quality. Not waterproof along the zipper opening but didn't expect it to be waterproof. As long as you're not standing in water or snow for too long these are definitely good shoes. Just bought the 8.5M in case I need to wear thicker socks. Definitely would buy them again if they had navy color or when these two pairs wear out.
