A great product with a top drawer support service
I really like this Pawfinda product. Really simple to set-up online and then attach to my dogs collar. The tag is lightweight and physically pretty small, (about the size of a 10p coin) so it doesn't bother my dog at all.The web site was easy to use and there's plenty of flexibility through your online Dashboard to specify pertinent and useful information about your dog, (contact details, names, vets details etc..)I also appreciate Pawfinda have offered a range of subscription options with associated capabilities and pricing. My dog actually managed to lose his tag on a particularly spirited walk recently, so as part of my subscription I contacted Paige at Pawfinda to request a free replacement tag. There was absolutely no quibble. A new tag was put in the post ASAP and the administrative records update made promptly. This is very much a case then of a well thought out product designed by someone with real experience of the challenge and worry that's generated when your dog goes missing, coupled with great product implementation and finished off with exemplary customer service.

Amazing!
I love the idea of this ID tag! That it can be updated frequently without having to buy new tags. I had mine 5 months and the plastic had worn down and split. I emailed Paige to make sure it wouldn't cause any problems with scanning the tag and she sent me out a brand new one the day after and made sure all my information was transferred over. Fabulous little idea with many designs/colours.

Pawfinfinder rainbow tag
Came across this as was looking for a nice digital tag for my new partner in crime (Nyla 10wk Belgian Shepperd) as recently lost my old partner 10 yr Akita to cancer.I can honestly say it was so easy to set up and works a treat. Real value for money and very nicely made too. I can not recomend enough.Julia (Havant)

Not actually legal in the UK.
I loved the idea of this tag, a place where all the information you need can be quickly and easily accessed? Yes please. These days pretty much everyone has a mobile phone with a camera on them at all times, so having a QR code tag would be brilliant. Or so i thought. The tag itself works perfectly, easy to set up, easy to scan, and the locator was very accurate. The only complaint i have about the tag itself is that its just printed on rather than engraved so it could just rub off. HOWEVER, and this is a biggie, according to the Control of Dogs Order 1992 all dogs must wear tags and the tags have to clearly display the owners name and address. Unfortunately after double and triple checking QR code tags are not considered legal identification tags. This means that you can actually get in trouble legally by using this and will have to have a second tag to display this info.Do i agree with this legislation? No. Firstly putting your address on a dog tag, as a woman, has and regularly does get abused and can lead to creeps knowing where you live and putting the owner in danger. Secondly a QR coded tag is superior for information providing. You could not fit all that info on an engraved tag and have it readable. So to reiterate this tag is a brilliant idea but is not considered viable identification in terms of UK law.I now have to go and buy a second tag that fills the requirement. In short, just save your money and get a regular engraved one.

Subscription 'mostly' required!
The product is great in itself, & does do everything (potentially) that it's meant to do... but only if you do actually take out a subscription to get all the features. Such as instant notifications with a Google map ping when it's scanned & the rest of what's advertised. The only available 'free' features are that of a normal pet-tag, like the name and contact details provided to the 'scannie' upon scanning the tag. But you're led to believe that all features are available and at no point a subscription was mentioned at all when I purchased it. This is the reason for the number of stars I gave. The product itself as a tag, is awesome.

Great idea, well executed
I'm very happy with my purchase. The small tag is the size of a 20p and weighs practically nothing. My cat hasn't noticed it's been added to his collar. I really like that I could edit the message that someone would see if they scanned the QR code. I couldn't find information about the different levels of subscription or their costs so I've added a picture of the leaflet that came with it. But bear in mind these prices may change. Fingers crossed I'll never have to depend on this but I feel better letting my cat out knowing he has this ID tag.
