Fun to build and very useful afterwards
The kit wasn’t too difficult to assemble. It was quite enjoyable to build. After it was done, I was able to use it for several other projects requiring a power source. This is much cheaper than a dedicated bench power supply. It doesn’t have as many features as one of the large power supplies, but it does its job well and looks good. The best part is knowing you built it yourself. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to learn to solder and get into electronics. The instructions were clear and easy to go off of.

better than advertised, buy 2 for dual power supply
up to 14.5 vdc (image 2) - takes a bit of plastic trimming to get the power cord it the slot, otherwise a simple effective kit, output leads can benefit from upgrade to a longer cord (as shown image 1)

Easy and quite a lot of fun to build.
About 3-hours passed in the blink of an eye while I was soldering this. I enjoyed it immensely. As well as it providing an accurate amount of voltage, the kit came with everything well packaged and in good shape. For a few bucks, this is a great value. If you're interested in developing your soldering skills and need a power supply for any projects you have in mind, I highly reccomend this kit.

Really good tool to teach someone how to solder.
I used this to teach my daughter how to solder and how dc works. She really enjoyed putting it together and seeing it work by powering leds and fans. We even used it to trigger a relay and test another circuit. One thing I was not overly haply with is that it can only put out 200mah which is very very low and makes it basically useless after you play with it for a few minutes. If they had made it like 1 amp or more it would be a really useful tool after building. I guess I missed that in the description somehow 🤷♂️. I can still use it to test small electronic components but nothing big.

Better have time to kill...
I can't believe it took so long to get to the part that says use part of the wire leads you cut off and attach them to the LCD display. Very time consuming. To me I wouldn't do it again. Basic solder skills required. Basic electronics knowledge helps. Directions are confusing. Parts being labeled would also be helpful.

Fun project
It's a fun project; everything falls in place just fine. I got 15v max out of this thing, transformer by itself gives about 16.5v. And falls just right within the range of CD4069. Printed manual is a good help too.

Worked for a short.
This was a fun little project, easy to understand instructions and very useful, however, after 10 minutes of use now, the LED display doesn’t work.
