Roamans Women's Plus Size Soft Knit Short Pull On Elastic Waist

I have two, old pairs of shorts from another company that I have always loved because they are loose and comfortable, and perfect for around the house. But, after years of frequent use, they've finally worn out to the point that I can't even patch them. I searched and searched for something that would work as a replacement, but every pair of shorts I saw was tight and fitted - until I found these. I was thrilled to find something so similar. The fabric is extremely soft, and they have a nice, loose fit in the legs. The only thing I ran into was that the waist was just a tiny bit more form-fitting than I wanted. They fit exactly as they're supposed to, I just like the waist a little bit looser for ease of movement, especially when I'm at home. I don't want to move a size up, though, because then the legs would be *too* loose. So, I've been carefully stretching the elastic in the waistband to the point where I want it to be. It's a minor issue, and I love the shorts enough to order three more pairs. I'm looking forward to having them.

I haven’t had these too long, so I can’t comment to their long-term quality. But they seem well-made and like they’ll last a good while. The 5-star rating is because of the cut and fall of the fabric. They don’t “hug” my poochy tummy like some other brands and the length is long enough to be modest and cover up most of the “thunder” part of my thigh without looking like a dork.

Quality of material is good quality but wow are these things large. I'm a size 18 and ordered a 2X, and I should have just ordered a large.

Being a larger gal, it's hard to order online if it's a brand you've never tried on in person. You never know if they are going to be true to size. Luckily I bought several pairs of these shorts for a trip to Mexico. So glad I did! They are true to size. And are suprisingly cute, and they fit great! The length for me is perfect, too. Above the knee but definitely not so short that you feel like you may flash someone. They are made of a good quality fabric (not the flimsy material that some shorts are made of these days). They have pretty deep pockets, which I love. The elastic is comfortable and the shorts don't "ride" up when you are walking or climbing. These are quite possibly the best shorts I've ever had. Love them! Wish they were in more colors because I'd buy them all!

These shorts fit very comfortably, and I have a hard time finding shorts that fit. The fabric is cotton, and it is breathable and feels good on my skin. Women's shorts with pockets are a real find! Although the model in the picture is thin, the shorts fit me about the way it looks in the picture. I will wear these shorts to the gym as well as around town.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------After wearing these shorts and running them through the washer and dryer, I find that the fit is very generous. If I buy another pair, I will go for a size or so smaller, though the original pair still is OK through the waist, where it counts.

These are very comfortable but they shrank after washing. I washed on cold and I always hang dry my clothes. However, they still are comfortable, just shorter. As a middle aged woman, they ended up being too short for outdoor wear but I can wear them around the house. Still nice and soft though. Very comfortable shorts and for someone in their 30's a little shorter might be ok.

I read the reviews for this product. I had never ordered from Roamans, but when I read that I needed to take care in ordering their sizes, I got out the tape measure. Roamans is for curvy ladies, and where I usually take an extra large; with Roamans, a large was perfect. The shorts fit, are comfortable, and look nice. I'm going on a cruise in 8 days and needed them for shore excursions and walking around the decks. I ordered 3 pair in various colors. Best of all...they were on sale!

I honestly cannot rate the product, yet. I accidentally had it sent to the wrong address, which I caught immediately after submitting the order. I actually had set the address, correctly at first, but then had to make a change to the order which caused it to reset to the default (I didn't notice until too late). Unfortunately, 1 minute too late is TOO LATE. I was unable to change the address at that point - so now I have to wait to get my items.Hopefully, there will still be time to return them if they don't fit, etc.UPDATED 6/27 - finally got these. I've tried them on and they are great. Fit great and very comfy while still looking nice! True to size.
