Paladone Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Question Block - Money Box Coin Bank

So, I didn't actually buy this so be a bank, I bought it as a question box for my students. I teach 7th grade math and science. Part of the science I have to teach is about the body. This can be difficult for students this age to ask questions about, so I have them write their questions on a small piece of paper, then I go around and collect the papers in this.It's perfect because it has a question mark on it, and it has a slit at the top for small sheets of paper or folded paper. Plus my students love that I have a Mario question box lol.

Sturdy. Speaker seems to be mediocre. Could be louder or have option of a volume switch. Overall cute and more durable than a ceramic piggy bank that was replaced with this that will probably last until my grandkids.

Overall it’s great. My 8 year old loves it and it hold coins like it should. We put batteries in but still can’t get the sound to go when you put the coins in. That’s the only annoying thing. But again, my kid is 8 and it still looks like the block from Mario so he’s happy with it.

Metal seems thing and it did arrive with a dent in the bottom but you can’t see it unless you pick it up and look under. Fun little bank to drop your spare change in!

This is a cute little bank but I gave it 2 stars because it doesn’t function very well. Maybe I just got a one off slightly defective one but it is very difficult to open. My kid can’t open it and I even have a very difficult time opening it. You have to squeeze the sides while trying to open the lid. The second reason for the low marks is ours doesn’t make the coin sound all the time. In fact the coin deposit is a little too wide so if we want ours to make the sound you have to stack like three coins together in order for them to hit the sensor and make the sound. I debated trying to send it back and get another one to see if ours was just defective or if it was made that way but it just wasn’t worth it.

Bought this as a gift for my non-biological nephews. They l o v e . i t . !!!It's super cute. It holds their money; it plays sound when you put money in there which encourages them to save up!They love it, so I love it.

My son eats, sleeps, and breaths Mario. He just turned 5 and has been receiving money for his birthday, as a reward or just finding it. I got this bank so he would have a fun way to incourage him to save his money. It works great! The top is a little hard to open but I see that as a possitive since I don't really want him to open it, lol. My son absolutely loves it!

All good. Lovely item. Strong metal bright coloured box. Top lifts off for easy access and counting fun. The coin sound is spot on and the fun of it doesnt get old. Simple, classic mario. We love it. Very well made.
