I have an outside cat who belonged to our neighbor. The owner died awhile back and we inherited CAT (yes...that is his name). He sleeps in a corner of our porch which is sheltered and he has a nice bed but I was still concerned if it was warm enough ......this Thermal pad works........it is hard to get him to leave his bed in the morning now. My cat loves it. I put it in his carrier with open door. He had slept in the carrier before, but not very often. Now he sleeps in his carrier 3 to 4 times a day. He likes the feel of the pad on his paws because he "digs" his paws on it before laying down. He liked it from the start. I am sure he will use it this winter a lot more.

The cats appreciate the body heat it generate back at them, but the mat curls up at the edges and will not lay flat. Most annoying.

We use these for our shelter kitties to add some extra warmth in their beds or on platforms they lounge on. They seem to really enjoy them and will seek out the spot with the mat rather than a spot that has just a blanket. So I think they work!

I used this product in our "cat mansion" for our outside cat. To get her used to it, I put it on my lap, then used the grooming glove to pet her. She loved it and now uses it inside her mansion.

I have 3 cats and none of them liked these products I had one who hated the glove so much she would run when I tried to brush her with it and the others just attacked me.

This mat arrived just in time for cold weather. Our cat loves it. The cover on the mat comes off for washing which is good. So glad we got this for our kitty.
