The longer you use one, the softer it becomes and you are not only able to clean between your teeth, but also massage your gums. I hope they never stop making these. I used to be able to find them at Walmart, but Amazon is the only place I'm able to find them now which is a disappointment.

The mint flavor made me feel nauseated. I threw them out. I could not find unflavored stim-u-dents on Amazon. It’s a great product that is, unfortunately, almost impossible to find in drug stores. And, apparently, unflavored stim-u-dents are even harder to find.

These sticks have increased the effectiveness of my dental hygiene and most pleasantly have rescued me from the discomfort of one troublesome area where food often gets stuck.

I have been using these for many, many years. On occasion I have been delinquent in dentist visits, yet the hygenist says my teeth and gums are a lot better than many who come in exactly on schedule. I attribute that statement to this product (as well as lengthy brushing).

They work. Just hard to find without going on line.
